I personally wouldn't trust anyone with my animals besides Stephanie and the staff at LLP. I first became a client 5 years ago. I had a very reactive dog, who was very difficult to walk with other dogs around. Stephanie personally took on my dog, worked with her and even introduced amazing behavioral adjustments.I now have two cats whom I also have under Stephanie's care when I go out of town!I have never had anything but an amazing experience with LLP.I personally think some people forget that LLP, Is a small women owned business. This is not a corporation that is going to send you an automated message as soon as you reach out. Stephanie personally responds to everyone and truly cares about the needs of your animals. One time I even had her watch my dog over the Christmas Holiday, She personally bought a stocking filled with doggy toys for Sable (my dog). And upon my return I even had a Christmas card in the mailbox from her with pictures of all the animals she services and a personalized framed photo of my dog for me!The service you receive under LLP for your animals is truly top notch and I have NEVER received this level of care and love with any other company!Thank YOU, LLP for all you do for our fur babies!!!

Lucky Lucy’s is the own pet care service I trust with my three leash reactive dogs. They are very communicative and take the best care of my furbabies.

We used Lucky Lucy Pets for about a month before discovering unexpected charges on our first invoice. When I raised the concern, the owner told me it was my responsibility to have asked about these charges in advance, and the day after I raised concerns the company neglected our dog. Details follow. We have worked with two dog walking companies (as well as other services requiring access to our home), and have never been charged for picking up our house key. It was not until our first invoice, a month+ into using Lucky Lucy services, that we found we'd been charged $24 for the initial meeting and key pick up AND another $24 for a meeting we were offered about 1.5 weeks later, when a new walker was assigned to our dog (we declined a walk on both visits). (Note that the new assigned walker was incredible and someone we would absolutely hire outside of Lucky Lucy). If they want to charge for this time, that would have been fine, but they did not inform us beforehand nor give us the option of incurring the charge. When I emailed the owner, Stephanie, to inquire about the charges, she took zero accountability for the lack of communication about the fees, and she was immediately rude. Among other things, she told me it was my responsibility to ask and that “We can only communicate so much and default to our clients to ask questions of things they are not aware of the answer to.” Why would a client think to ask if a company will charge money for a brief service that facilitates them to do their job? She also indicated I was wasting her time with back-and-forth emails to try to resolve the issue. The implication was that my time is not valuable, but hers is. After several emails and a lot of unnecessary attitude, she ultimately reimbursed only one of the two unexpected charges.Because she blamed me and offered no indication that she would try communicate better going forward, we could not stay with the company. I asked how much notice they require to cancel walks, and after multiple emails of more unnecessary rudeness, she finally answered that they require no notice. I then cancelled walks, in their online portal, after a two week grace period, which seemed only fair to the wonderful person who had been walking our dog. The next day, in the late afternoon, at the office, I logged into the system to see if our dog had been walked. To my surprise, the remaining walks that I had very clearly intentionally left on the schedule had been cancelled by Stephanie/the company, with no communication to let us know. This was incredibly unprofessional and amounts to animal neglect. Because we were not told his walks had been cancelled, and he was left indoors and alone in our house for 10 hours as a result. When I called (no answer) and emailed to inquire about the cancelled walks, thinking it was a mistake on their part, I, again, got no apologies. Instead, Stephanie came at me again with the client-blaming, trying to imply that I had indicated, in the previous day's exchange, that I wanted to immediately discontinue our walks. However, nowhere in our email exchange did I say that, and nowhere in her communication with me did she say they would be cancelling our walks on their end. My husband re-read the emails and confirmed this. I had hoped the response would be remorse and a promise to immediately go and relieve our dog. This is about as unprofessional as a dog walking company can get, and really worrisome that they have so little concern for the well-being of the dogs who've been under their care.I am sure she will respond to this review with deflecting of blame, as is clearly her style. The other negative reviews here all point to her character flaws, as well. Do not put your pets or your money in her trust. We know other dog walking companies in the area take customer service seriously--I encourage you to find them. Also note that my other Google reviews have all been positive to date. In this case, I feel compelled to help others avoid the awful experience we (and our dog) had.

I LOVE lucky Lucy’s pets and the professionalism this company has always shown me and my two cats! I like most people over covid adopted two cats, and Stephanie at Lucky Lucy’s was amazing in assisting me with their needs anytime my job needs me to travel out of state! I want to point out that I am VERY picky and don’t trust a lot of people, so who I allow to care for my animals is insanely important to me and I truly have no stress leaving my babies in the hands of this amazing company! Anytime I am out of town, I receive constant updates, pictures etc of my cats, so I always know they are in great hands. I also love and support that this is a small woman owned business! THANK YOU, LLP!!!!

This was the best experience I’ve had. Seymour loved Stephanie and he doesn’t like many people (including me sometimes). She was kind, caring, and has a way with dogs that you don’t always find. 5 stars!!

I have trusted Stephanie and her staff for years. They are so professional and offered tips to get my Chiweenie Baxter to stop jumping! They treat my pets as their own and I have never had any problems with their services. I have 2 cats and 3 dogs. I’ve done boarding, walks, they’ve come to feed my cats (and have given fresh water!), they cuddle the cats, etc. When I come home, the dogs are tired, which makes my long days easier to know they were active! Overall, I’m very pleased with Stephanie and her staff! I hope when I have to move, I will be able to someone that loves my pets the way Stephanie does!

I've been using LLP/Stephanie for dog walking and boarding services for over 4 years now. They are a small local business, keyword being small! They have always put the needs of the pets they are caring for above anything else, including administrative tasks. So it takes a little time to get back to everyone, and she's very particular about who she hires. Isn't that what you'd want from someone caring for your pet?

hello everyone my name is Cheryl gonzalez I have came here to write a review because of the complete unprofessionalism this business showed me! the owner of this company's name is stephanie hall she's just plain Horrible so I found out about them on indeed and I absolutely love and adore animals and have been trying to attain a job in this field for a while now! Well she actually reached out to me and asked for an interview we did one over the phone in which she said she loved my energy and wanted to hire me! I started training and just absolutely loved it!! Then my children got sick with the rsv virus is was horrible as a single mother I couldn't leave them in doing so I ended up with the virus! so with all that said I had finished training and couldn't start my first day of work because I got sick! instead of her waiting for me to feel better and heal to start me on my first day she just put the ad back on indeed to hire someone else when I seen this I emailed her and asked her if everything was ok letting her know that I was still sick but I am working on getting better! She ignored me!! I messaged her on text and she left me on read multiple times! Super upsetting finally I texted her and told her she was bieng unprofessional in which she then text me to tell me she will not be moving forward with me!!! I was appalled like what did I do!! I got sick and now I have no job! Horrible I asked her when I would be compensated for my 2 days and 10 hours of training I did with her dogs and she ignored me!! I am completely baffled with the lack of professionalism she has shown me she doesn't want to pay me for my time and so I have obviously gone to the board of labor and filed a complaint and they have in turn told me that what she is doing is absolutely illegal so now she's under investigation!!! If you want a job there don't do it!!! They are horrible and if you have a dog and need them to be walked don't use them they are just unprofessional use above and beyond pets they are the best and I'm now a member of there team!!!

I've been using Lucky Lucy's services for over a year now for dog walking services. My work schedule is somewhat flexible in that I can stay home if a walk cannot be scheduled for that day, but I generally rely on Lucky Lucy walks for most workdays. Since I joined the clientele during COVID, the company was going through issues with understaffing and overdemand. This did yield some issues you might expect, like walks being canceled/not staffed due to lack of walkers and learning curves for some new walkers who were staffed. I know that this can be frustrating for people, and validly so, so this review is not to invalidate those feelings, though it does not always happen and if it does, you will usually have at least a few days notice if not more. I'm rating them five stars for a two main reasons: (1) Stephanie really cares that her clients are happy, the pets are well-taken care of, and her walkers go through a training process and probationary period, and (2) they utilize a very helpful online booking and journaling system that allows you to book walks/pet-sitting requests and for the walkers to leave journal notes and pictures from that day's walk. The first point is the most important--I left services like Rover because it was impersonal and random. Stephanie works to staff trained people for certain regions so that you tend you have the same one or two walkers who really get to know you and your dog. Since this is a small business that I think Stephanie runs solo, she really cares about the business and quality of care. Though she and her staff are stretched thin and sometimes you need to do your own outreach to double check if a walk is scheduled for that day or that week if the system is not updated, it does not bother me enough to be more than a minor inconvenience. I sympathize with the amount of work it is taking her to run the business and try to provide everyone with personalized service, so I think if you can have some grace and sympathy for some minor hiccups as with any small business (and dog walking services at that), you'll be lucky to be part of the crew.

We had plans to go away for a weekend and I was nervous about someone caring for our dog because he is basically my baby. He also has separation anxiety so I wanted to make sure I found someone reliable who wouldn’t leave him in distress. I am so glad I found Lucky Lucy’s. He boarded in a sitter’s home (Cass) for the weekend and she took great care of him. I got plenty of updates and pictures via text so I did not have to worry. As a bonus he was super tired when we got home from playing all weekend with the other dogs! I will not hesitate to re-book if we need someone to watch our dog again.

Stephanie, the owner of LLP, has been amazing the entire time we have worked with them! She responds to text and emails and has really helped me find dog sitter or walking coverage even at the last minute. All the dog walkers and sitters we have worked with through LLP have been great. Our dog can be a lot to handle and everyone really takes the time to make sure he is well cared for and enjoys his exercise. They also help with our scheduling and text us before they arrive and return from walks. They give updates with pictures and descriptions for each walk or each day of dog sitting. Lucky Lucy’s Pets has been an amazing service and I am so lucky that I have them as a resource!

I’m really sad to post this because I really liked Stephanie! She took great care of my cats previous but recently she completed stopped responding to me and left me scrambling for a sitter for my special needs cat last minute (like the day before I left). I had texted her to schedule a sitter for Memorial Day 2 months in advance and she responded and confirmed I was on her schedule. However, when I texted to confirm a week before Memorial Day, she read my message and never responded. I texted a few more times and was left on read, then emailed and called. She never responded sadly. Now, a week later, I still haven’t heard back and am so sad and disappointed. Stephanie is amazing and takes great care of our pets but she left us in a horrible position and never reached out to explain.

We had a consultation with one of the dog walkers, who seemed very nice, but it was my understanding she was coming at 11am - instead she showed up around noon. Apparently there is a two-hour timeframe they will come by, and I just wasn't made aware of this. Then I emailed the owner to say "yes, let's start the walks" and the only response I got was "a client passed away, so I'm going to mourn, but I'll be in touch tomorrow." Of course, I responded with sympathy and said I understand. The next day came and went without hearing from the owner. Today, TEN days later, I followed up again because I still have not heard from the owner ... I told her I unfortunately cannot trust Lucky Lucy's and will not be working with them in the future. Very disappointed.

An amazing pet sitter! We have three cats and one of them has special needs and requires medication every 8 hours. It was so hard to find someone that would be willing to do that but Stephanie was not only able to do it, but made us feel so comfortable with leaving our cats with her! She is amazing!
