There is no way to speak to the pharmacist via phone, you will just be on hold for eternity. I attempted to transfer my medications over to the Walgreens next door and was told that I couldn't even do that because the CVS won't answer the phone

CVS chronic understaffing problem is nearly criminal. This branch has suffered so much.The pharmacists are great and the staff are nice but CVS does the team so dirty by overloading them and not staffing enough. CVS is pulling this nonsense everywhere but it's so bad at this branch. I feel awful for everyone who works there and the constant abuse they deal with.Hey CVS, staff your stores like your business is providing a service (that's already been paid for) and not squeezing every last ounce of patience and labor out of your customers and staff.

Went to the pharmacy on 11/8. The sole man working there confirmed my rx was there then went to go look for it. He looked for legit 20 seconds, while saying all frustrated “I can’t do this”. He came back over and said “Can you come back later? I can’t find it.” I left work early to be able to come pick it up and left empty handed because this pharmacy employs people who refuse to do their job. I transferred my rx to another location.

Awful pharmacist. Too stressed to help. Kept screaming at the line that they should come back another day. I explained I needed medication to help with breathing and he was not willing to help. Went next door to Walgreens and they helped me figure it out.

This pharmacy inside target on 471 salem st has to be the worst one in existence, i went down on 9/19/23 around 3pm to see how long my scripts would take. The pharmacist at the register was completey rude and didnt seem to care, when i asked how long he stated “ idk could be an hour 2 hours maybe we could fill it maybe not maybe we have to call you doctor” in a condescending tone. So i said sir i need this medication today its been over due for 3 days can you please just tell me how long, so he goes “ you can ask the pharm tech and he points to him because he was ignoring me the whole time, i said excuse me sir but how long will this take? he turns around and goes “ idk ill get to when i get to it!l yelling at me. So i left waited 2 hours came back noticing on the application ones filled and the other is on hold. So i asked them i said sir its been over 2 hours why is this on hold and he just kept yelling at me saying he has to call my doctor. I said sir why ive never had a problem in 7 years i could have a seizure if i dont get this medication. I asked when are you going to call her he goes “TOMORROW” yelling, “ if you have a problem with that call ur insurance company or doctor, then he kicked me out! so i called my insurance company twice because my therapist was closed. My insurance company called that CVS twice! and they ignored them one even picked up the phone and hung it out. Come to find out after talking to my insurance she told me that this was unacceptable and there is no prior authorization required he just needs a code bring this phone number and have him call. So i went down for the 3rd time this pharm tech was all by himself i talk up very nice and kind and said sir can you please call this number. He refused he got irrate he said he wants to speak to my doctor so i asked him why are you doing this why are you being so rude to me. He goes “ your on alot of medication” i said EXCUSE ME?!? so i realized then and there he was judging me based off my medical history, so he kicked me out again! This man should be fired its the pharm tech in the white coat small old man with hearing aids, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY. ive already complained to corporate i want him fired!!!

Impossible to schedule vaccine in Medford says availability
