The service department at Colonial Nissan/Medford, MA is the epitome of how a service depart should perform. I made my appointment ahead of time due to my travel plans to be nearby. I spoke with Laura, my service advisor there, and described the symptoms my Frontier was experiencing and had a date and time to come in within moments. The problem was diagnosed in half the time I was told it could take. I gave the go ahead after Laura told me the cost involved to do the repairs (this was not a simple oil change, this was surgery) and was given the time frame to expect the truck to be back on the road. The mechanic beat that time estimate as well !!If you are a Nissan vehicle owner in this area, you owe it to yourself to call Laura when you need dependable honest folks to work with in regard to your Nissan ride. You will find everyone in that service department made it their business to make sure I was treated professionally!Sincerely, T. I. Of Wilmington, NC

My recent visit to Colonial Nissan left me extremely disappointed. I brought my car in because the doors weren't locking, and I was told it was the driver door actuator causing the issue. Reluctantly, I agreed to the repair, which came with a hefty price tag of $750.After patiently waiting for 3 hours, they returned my car, claiming the driver door was fixed. However, to my dismay, the other three doors still had the same problem. That's when they dropped a bombshell on me, stating that I needed to replace all three other actuators for an additional cost of $1,760, on top of the initial $750.This experience felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. The initial $750 repair was presented as a solution to fix the issue, only for Colonial Nissan to reveal that it was just the beginning, and I needed to pay an exorbitant amount for the other actuators. If I had known that the first repair was only a starting point, I wouldn't have agreed to it in the first place. To address this issue, I reached out to Nissan Consumer Affairs to report this disappointing experience. Colonial Nissan's conduct during this ordeal was nothing short of dishonest, and their pricing practices are questionable at best. This experience was both frustrating and costly.

The General Managers and sales representative Jonathan C treated me respect and kindness. I explained what my needs were with my new lease, and they went forth with the process of locating the car I wanted. It was, as always, a positive experience.

Brought my car in because I suspected that there was something wrong with my breaks. I was right in the sense that the back breaks needed to be replaced. They did a full diagnostic for 185 dollars. Back breaks were 800, replace the serpentine belt which was "frayed" and "cracked." Rotate the tires, align the vehicle, change the fluids. Typical 60k miles on the car stuff. All for a whopping 1800 dollars. Anyways, brought it to another place for a second opinion, they said the back break's definitely needed to be done but everything else was like new. And the serpentine belt was FINE. This place had me afraid to drive my car. Anyways, wouldn't trust them to repair my car. Definitely won't be going back there. Waste of 185 but at least I didn't end up paying the 1800 for their phony repairs.

I felt like the inspection and suggested maintenance were fair. I appreciated the advice on continuing to maintain the car. My experience with other dealerships has caused me to lose trust but I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Colonial Nissan.

James Bacon was my sales person. He was very professional, friendly and thoughtful. He made sure to sit with me and explain all the safety and fun features of my new car. He called me the next day to check in and see how I was doing. The finance guy was great. The manager. All the staff were super friendly and profession and made you feel welcome.

Phil (A21) is the best! I always request him to do all the work in my car. He's very knowledgeable and knows how to do his job. He's great at explaining the issues, how they may have happened, and ways to avoid it. Very professional!

I originally came to this dealership 3 yrs ago to lease my first car out of college. From that initial visit this dealership has been amazing. Between last time 3 years ago and this time when I leased my newest car this week, they have continued to provide great service that is also relatively fast (which I like the most because I’m impatient and dealerships are notorious for being slow). Also everyone I have encountered at the dealership has been more than welcoming and have always been able to provide reliable and true information to me. I will keep going back here for each lease as long as I’m living in the state of Massachusetts. Truly have nothing but good words here.

My experience trading my vehicle was absolutely incredible! The customer service was wonderful from the moment that I stepped onto the lot to the moment I drove off with my new vehicle. I was unsure how open they would be to negotiating, however I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get a great deal. Highly recommend!
