There are good employees here and terrible ones. The woman today, always on phone. I go in for coffee and I like plain black...I end up having to use 3 different; breakfast blend, French vanilla, and hazelnut and that doesn't even give me a full large. She always has the lamest of excuses and it's unacceptable. This should actually be 2.5 stars but not allowed to choose a half star. You can do better 7/11 you just have to weed out the dead weight.

This 7-Eleven location is inconsistent with it's customer service. I've experienced plenty of bad service throughout my life but for some reason tonight pushed me to make a Yelp account. One of the biggest issues that comes with this location is the lack of training the associates are given. It's to the point where I would have to walk them through how to put in their own promotion. Oh boy if I had a nickel for every time they screwed up the taquito 5/$4 deal on me. Just a couple weeks ago I had to argue with the guy that the deal exists. You know, the deal that has 3 different signs stating "5/$4 mix and match". After walking him over the counter and showing him, he then decides its only for the taquitos not the Buffalo Chicken Roller. Wrong. It's literally in the picture of the deal which again, states "mix and match". Not to mention every time I get the deal I get a couple Buffalo Chicken Rollers. I left that night without anything. Not only are the employees unaware of their own promotions, they also constantly (And I kid you not. Like 80% of the time) label the taquitos incorrectly. It's like a taquito scratch ticket! You never know if you're going to get what you actually ordered. And if you go there and look at the little signs by the taquitos, you'll see that one of the rollers has 2 different products on the same sign. What does that even mean? 50% chance of being one or the other? At this point you can imagine the only reason I keep going back there is because it's a rock throw away from my house. Super convenient. Now for what happened tonight. They had a sign up for Combos being 2 for $4 And I know what you're thinking. Either "What are Combos?" or "Who still consumes those things in 2018?". I'm sort of having a combo phase. Anyways, I proceed to the counter with 2 bags and they ring up at $5. I mentioned there was a sign that said they were 2 for $4 and he says "it's for tomorrow". I then asked why its up tonight if it's not available until tomorrow. And he rambles and reaches for any words he can find then follows it with "So it's not until tomorrow". I walked over and looked at the sign and it didn't have an effective date, so I brought the little tag over to him. He calls his manager and says he's sorry and that it will be effective tomorrow. As a man of pride I tell him I'm good and am no longer interested in the product. He then gives a passive aggressive attitude as he goes to put them away. So now I'm trying to find something else to get and I come to see that he put the sign back up! Why would you do that? And as I noticed that, I heard a customer at the counter saying "That's false advertising why is the sign up?" to the associate and he responds with the same thing he said to me! I left after hearing that. There are a couple employees there who are always super helpful and always get the job right however and that's what keeps me from blacklisting this location.

"Sev" is my new junk-food crush. Many peeps are not privy to the array of dirt-cheap hot foods at Sev. My advice is to get privy. Sev rocks. I just went to Sev for lunch and got the 5 for $4 taquitos. They gave me a bonus taquito and the lady heated them in their awesome Turbo Oven which is an ultra-fast, high-tech, wicked-hot oven (not a microwave). She then stuck a food thermometer up into the taquitos, rectal-style, to ensure hotness. These rolled tubes of gooey goodness were yumskis and filling. I opted for a mash-up of BBQ, Chicken, Jalpeno Cheese, and what may have been a beef-like substance. I also grabbed a Ghost Gummi Slurpee for additional nutrition. I was in "Sev"enth heaven. BTW, Sev has pissah wings too. Also, highly recommended are the 3 for 3 bucks chicken tenders. These are BIG breasts, like Double-D (as in Double Delicious), bro, and they are juicy and most succulent and crisp outta the Turbo Oven. I love you, Sev. I'll be back!
