My son spent a season with Sluggers. Great support and training. When it came to putting teams together, my son and I were told that he was on the "B" team because his dad did not help coach and they were building strength for Natick High team. My son has been raised by a single mom, no dad to "help coach." And he was not going to Natick High. Great opportunity if your son fits demographics. Set back if you're raising boys on your own. Clearly, Sluggers is a Man's World. Single moms steer clear!
