“Andy runs an organized, knowledgeable, experienced shop on the level of the great shops in Jackson, Wyoming and Livingston. I went there to take a casting lesson and Andy, with practical experience coupled with Joan Wulff's instructor course, immediately saw a place to improve my stroke. He was positive. He provided an immediate insight which got me an additional 30 feet on a 'tight' cast. We then discussed reels and fishing the Farmington River. Andy's approach was low key and practical and his prices are right. He is fully equipped with name-brand shirts and clothing, fly fishing necessities and wisdom. I will go back for gear, insight, guiding and my improvement.”

“My daughter and I have shopped at Wish several times and always walk away with something! It really is a one stop shop for all your gifting and personal clothing/accessory needs! My family and I are currently in Italy for 2 weeks and we wanted to take a family photo in Sorrento wearing lemons, so low and behold, we went into the store, and they had the perfect top!! I never feel pressured while I’m there and all the staff is exceptionally professional and sweet! We WILL be back!”

“June 2023 - Very sad to get an email from the store that they are closing after 40+ years in the business. Their knowledgeable, friendly staff were always great to work with, and their customer service was excellent. Another victim (I think) to online virtual stores and declining clothing standards. Shop locally to support local businesses or they will all disappear!”

“I came in to Options to shop for professional clothing for my first “big girl” job, and I was blown away by the quality of the selection available, as well as the range in sizes, colors, patterns, and styles of clothing. I found so many incredible deals on my own, but I was especially impressed when the owner herself, Libby, began bringing me items she thought I would like! I felt very comfortable in the store and can’t wait to wear my new (although technically second-hand, they’re in as good as new condition!) clothes to work!”

He helped me order the jeans when we couldn’t find the size, and even showed me this super cute shirt! I also signed up for holister house which got me 10 dollars off!! He was super helpful!”

“I can’t believe the reviews I’m reading because clearly these reviewers are either extremely uptight or have the wrong store. Since the moment this store opened it became my favorite store in the world and run by one of the most beautiful (inside and out), caring people. Kelly takes an interest in her customers, gets to know their likes and dislikes and what will look good on them. She has great recommendations whether it’s myself, my daughter or my husband shopping. Thistle Hill is the reason I shop in Concord so the other stores, though nice on their own, benefit from Thistle Hill’s presence in the town. I prefer to shop small and therefore am fine with stricter return policies, putting down my coffee when I enter to protect the beautiful environment and fully understand the difference in margins for boutiques over chains. There is also a huge difference in quality between these store models and when you weigh price/quality/wear, the items sold by Thistle Hill are actually better economically. When it comes to reviews, remember that consumers are more likely to post a negative review than a positive one. Reasonable people who may have a negative experience somewhere are also more likely to give the shop, restaurant or hotel the benefit of the doubt before jumping to conclusions and complaining loudly to the world. I’m glad that these unreasonable people don’t plan to shop here in the future as it will make my frequent excursions here far more enjoyable. Thank you Thistle Hill for creating such a wonderful experience.”

“I dropped into Pure Barre this morning for the first time and had such a great experience! As a barre instructor myself, I love getting some inspiration from other instructors and being challenged too! The ladies were so welcoming and the classic barre class was a burner!! “This store deserves more than a five star review. I don’t think I’ve ever escaped from a visit without new to me items. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and they go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. I’ve also consigned well over 100 items at this location and have enjoyed ever interaction I’ve had. I highly recommend this consignment shop (read - this is a higher end shop, NOT a thrift shop). Even with consigned items that don’t sell, the store owner donates the clothing and accessories to a worthy charity. I’m so glad I found raspberry beret!”
