Raspberry Beret has been in Maynard for a while.
The owner has a good eye and there are always some interesting pieces of clothing as well as shoes and accessories there.
Just found a tee shirt and pair of cotton pants that are very similar to the new baggier high waisted pants out there.

This store deserves more than a five star review. I don’t think I’ve ever escaped from a visit without new to me items. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and they go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. I’ve also consigned well over 100 items at this location and have enjoyed ever interaction I’ve had. I highly recommend this consignment shop (read - this is a higher end shop, NOT a thrift shop). Even with consigned items that don’t sell, the store owner donates the clothing and accessories to a worthy charity. I’m so glad I found raspberry beret!

Customer service is horrible. Every time I've gone in the owner was so unfriendly, and if I asked a question it was as if I was bothering here. Last week I dropped $250 in there, the young girl didn't remind me to put my phone # in there to start the transaction so that I'd get my points. She said she'd follow up with the owner which she never did. I stopped in today, another worker checked to see if my points had been input, sure enough they weren't. Owner calls me not understanding what the problem is and asking why she needed to call me; I clearly stated what had transpired, she says "I dont know what you're talking about you're points are in there". So rude, told her I'd shop elsewhere for the consistent horrible customer service and she laughed at me!" So much for supporting local, I'm back to buying online and other small businesses in Maynard, and beyond!

I agree with other reviewers as they lack customer service, which, after Covid sales lull, I imagine most stores need business, as opposed to reject patrons. The ears, cheeks and nose pierced young clerk failed to give us eye contact upon our arrival. When we asked questions about three items, the response was monosyllabic and apathetic. other shops in this chain greet customers with friendliness and encourage shoppers to inquire look around and purchase -not this one.

Terrible for consigning, if items are not sold they become property of the store unless they are over $50. Many items consigned are priced in the store for under $50 (so you can't get them returned after the 60 day period) but on their Poshmark account they are are priced over $50. Additionally, the people who work there are not friendly and condescending.

Raspberry Beret is my favorite kind of consignment shop where they are particular about the pieces they consign. This means that quality and selection of items are always excellent. I have both consigned and purchased many items from Raspberry Beret and highly recommend checking them out if you are in the Maynard area. Worth the trip!

I purchased a beautiful white coat and golden necklace right as the shop was closing. I was helped by a wonderful woman (whose name escapes me, apologies!). She was so gracious and helped me find the right pricing for the golden droplet necklace I wanted. Would definitely go back!! Thanks again for the imppecable customer service!

Looks like a super cute shop! Woman who looked as the manger was rude and couldn't give her customers the time of day. I went to the register to check out.. no hello, no did you find everything ok? Just my total and a fake a** smile. Won't be shopping there again. Was very uncomfortable.
