Dirty and no one seems to clean or take care of the place! There is mold growing in some of the machines. I went tonight and there was some kind of bug (fruit flies?) infestation. I did 5 loads of laundry ($$$$$) - their prices just went up - and the bugs were everywhere when I was folding them and putting them into plastic bags. I don’t dare bring them into my house so I have to go to a different laundromat and rewash and dry them. Another $50! I tried to call the number on the laundromat wall to let them know about the bugs but the phone # is out of service! Really terrible laundromat! The one in Chelmsford is SO much better!! Somebody should contact the health dept. about the Maynard laundromat!Update: when they switched from quarters to credit/debit cards, my card got hacked and money was stolen. My bank (yay Middlesex!) covered the money loss, but I’ll never go there again!

While the payment is easy and convenient and the place is minimally busy, the lack of an accessible entrance makes this laundry mat very difficult to enter and improbable for disabled people. There's a mini dumpster blocking one side of the wheelchair ramp on the sidewalk and some kind of oil recycling barrel blocking the other side, if you could even get there with a telephone pole and dumpster blocking the only parking spot that you could get to it. The curb in front of the door is high and difficult to navigate especially if you bring your own cart to bring in your stuff from the car. The concrete between the curb and the door is also broken and uneven making it a dangerous entryway even in the summer. There seems not to be any staff presence as well so if you do have trouble I'm not sure how you'd go about getting it. A reconstruction of the area directly in front of the building would make this worth 5 stars, but at present, the hazardous entry drops this to a 3star facility.

This is one of the cleanest, well taken care of laundromats I've ever been too!

Been here three times. First time was fine. Second time some whack job called the cops that I had damaged his car (And had to be held back by cops because he charged at me). They cited him for a bogus 911 call. This time many of the washers aren't working. This place is a waste of time and I would have given them zero stars if I could.

I really like the laundromat itself, but the account hold policy is ridiculous. 10.00 per swipe. So to do 3 loads of laundry, I have to have 60.00 free in my account for however many days. I'd wager that most laundromat users are not high income. How is this a good idea?

Nice machines, not crowded

It seems clean, and I like the fact that it's quiet, with no radio or TV. The machines can be a bit confusing to operate at first. I lost some money in a dryer, and received a response within hours from the owner/manager. He immediately, and cheerfully, refunded my money, which I found very impressive.

I mean, laundromat anywhere are a hellscape and this is no different. Notes on half the machines, many which appear to have been left by customers did not inspire confusidence. Very basic machines with not a lot of options - the smallest cost $4.50I ran 3 loads in different machines and one if them had issues. Door locked and would not release. I had to go and not a soul was there so I called the number for "service" and was delighted to get a call back within 10 minutes - BUT the call was a robo call trying to sell me direct TV. WTH?

The large washers are very handy. I also like that you can use a credit card on the washers/dryers directly. Place was very clean too.

Returned recently out of necessity. Costs are up with these fancy credit card readers. About 35% of the washing machines are broken. Getting worse.

Laundry - ya gotta to do it. And here's a great place to do that. Even better, their washers and dryer machines take credit and debit cards. No card? You can buy a magnetic stripe payment card on-site with cash, savng you the hassle of hustling quarters from retailers or hunting underneath your car seats. This location offers small washers - like the kind you have at home - medium laundromat sized machines, and massive, mega washers and mega dryers for those of you (like me) who let things pile up for about a month at a time. This laundromat is clean, bright, and well-maintained. While your clothes are spinning, you may want to check out this cool breakfast place right next to it. If you're feeling like a stroll as your duds get cleaned and dried, take a spin around downtown Maynard, which is charming and offers a healthy variety of superb restaurants, new and used clothing stores, gift shops, crafts, and the world-famous Maynard Outdoor Store.
