Maynard is the best small shop for projects around the house. They always seem to have the most random part that is needed. I also always go to them for smoke detectors, CO detectors, heat detectors, etc. They have really good prices and great customer service!

I've been holed up here for god knows how long. Chirley Pookie thinks they got me but I survived. I think the oilers are coming for him too. I don't know what happened to Dawg Nick. Been eating my cummies and that special brown.

I went in to pick up a couple things and the woman behind the counter was extremely rude and dismissive. She proceeded to tell me that everything I needed was on back order. I got in my car and checked amazon.com and they have everything I need.I will not go back there, ever.

Brought a part of my outdoor spigot to get it replaced today. I was told I needed to replace the whole frost free spigot with a new one and get a plumber. Thank goodness for youtube. The advice was uninformed and totally incorrect. I replaced a rubber gasket for about 15 cents and also purchased the back flow arrester I was told I could not do at Maynard Supply for about 28$. Went to the ACE Hardware store in Billerica. They have informed staff that can help in the plumbing department and else ware in the store. They are a huge store with friendly and helpful employees. I live near ACE in Concord and Acton but it is worth my time to travel an additional 20min to Billerica. Much better experience than any big box store. No more loud vibration in the house when the hose is on outside and no expensive plumber house call. I love dogs, I have 2 but I did not like the greeting I got from the dog as I came in the door. His dog bed was in the middle of the entry way! Don't know how this place is in business!

I looked on line for light fixtures for almost a full year! (a ceiling fixture and a ceiling fan)I call ask questions( that some 18 yr old rep gave me the wrong answersto (HAD TO RETURN THE FIXTURE)!!I called Maynard Supplly place. that is in the next town to my home which I thought they just had Light Bulbs and found this incredible woman that gave me Boosk to take Home and explained things to me .......anyway I could go on and on THIS is a WONDERFUL STORE! Thanks for helping me. Paula

The place my local hardware store sends me when they don't have what I need! Definitely geared for contractors. Call first and talk to someone to make sure they have what you want - and don't be surprised if another counter person thinks they don't have it until they go and check.

If you're looking for fixtures, absolutely come to this play. My wife and I are looking to get fixtures for our home, and Pam has been super helpful the entire time. She has been very prompt in email responses, and provided detailed and useful information as we try to determine which fixtures should go where and how to stay within our budget.
