A friend of mine, who is 80 years old and easily confused, went to Main Street Liquors to buy one seltzer, one white wine and one red wine for a party at my house. They sold her a $17 case of hard seltzer instead of a $1 bottle of seltzer. When she arrived at the party, people explained to her that it was alcoholic. She was surprised since she had told them that she wanted seltzer. A few of us tried the hard seltzer at the party and found it too awful to drink. Today we brought back the rest of the case to return it, but they refused. They took no responsibility for taking advantage of her lack of understanding. I think they took advantage of an old lady and hope you decide to go to a different liquor store when you want to shop for liquor.

It is convenient for me to walk to and they are always good to me. There was concern in Maynard that they allowed customers in without masks. There was no sign on the door so I addressed it with the owner about it not being good/safe business to allow people in without masks. A sign has since been posted.

I used to go there every week at least two times . I have noticed that the customer service has extremely dropped. The owner used to be there more and honestly , i asked to use the bathroom and was given attitude because of it. I felt like the bussiness i was bringing was worth nothing . For that reason i hace decided to save more money amd go somewhere else.
