I grew up in Maynard and now live in Concord, but have stayed with Peter the owner of John's Cleaners because I love the service. They are so kind and welcoming and do a fantastic job with all my professional clothing needs. My suits and shirts are clean and crisp and when I need a repair they become that one stop shop for all my needs. I highly recommend John's Cleaners of Maynard for your professional clothing needs.

On numerous occasions found my shirts after dry cleaned to still be semi wrinkle. I never said anything because I usually iron them. But yesterday on Thursday picked up my three pants I had dry cleaned (mind you none of them discolored) and when I received them, one of my suit pants had weird pinkish discoloration. The lady was not the “boss” so I left them there for boss to look at, and this morning spoke to owner/boss, about discoloration and he told me it wasn’t him or his common fault and they were “due to sweat (from me). I told him the discoloration was not there when I dropped off, and gave me look as it was (basically saying I’m lying). So refused to acknowledge damage and restoration. Obviously last time I do business with them, and I’m out of a suit!!! Disgraceful indeed. And I noticed he must of tried to do something to get out because you can see in picture I took, it appears to be a wet ring around pinkish area. Both legs have discoloration. He had to insult me on the material my pants were (polyester and wool mix) and that’s why discoloration as well.

Been going here for twenty years. Reasonable prices. Never any holes or missing buttons. Repairs and tailoring are good too.

I love social media, it keeps the world connected...regardless, if we speak the same language. I love specific topics and the surprise I find on Pinterist, these things are the way I find my style, home decor projects, and furniture restoration. I LOVE responses that give me inspirations.

John's Cleaners are the best! I have been using them exclusively since the current owners Margaret & Peter have owned John's. They and their long time employee Lucy are very friendly and always the most helpful for whatever the customer needs! I highly recommend them!

Picked up my granddaughter prom dress today, they did a great job tailoring it and with the extra material they made a face mask. Thank you so much, much appreciated

I have used John’s cleaners since the late 1950’s and have always been satisfied with their work. I moved away from Maynard for a number of years and was pleased to see John’s still at work in the same location as when I left. I continue to use them and I am still satisfied with their work

I have used John's cleaners for oil ver 10 years. However, after paying 65.00 for leather jacket repairs, I was shocked and disappointed at the "shoddy" repair of pockets. Instead of repairing a large tear in pocket by replacing entire pocket, they choice to "bunch up" and simply sew the rip. The pocket is useless to use, as keys fall out because pocket is not deep enough. I was saddened to hear their answer to this was "use the pocket on right hand side"!! $65.00 is alot of money for myself and others. I believe I will not be returning to John's cleaners.

I had to get a semi-expensive tux for a black tie wedding, I didn't buy the tux here, but I've got it cleaned here multiple times. Every time it comes back looking pristine, with no damage or discoloration. Prices are good, but as a warning: it's cash only!

John's Cleaners is the best around! Friendly and fast service, what more can you ask for ?! They do a thorough job and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had my prom dress altered there and they did a great job. The prices are extremely reasonable, would highly recommend !
