I have never in my life been more grateful for the manager that asked me to remove myself from the area I was reviewing for my job because I was having too much fun! Also I understand why she yelled at me, I deserved it. I shouldn't have put on the lipstick I intended to purchase. I apologize. My B! GIMb.

People who have claimed this grocery store has poor service and rude workers are correct. I ran into one today: a butcher in a blue baseball cap ( he was not wearing a name tag). I ask him if the store carried turkey sausage, he curtly responded that he had none. He was putting out hamburger so I just walked down towards the bacon and found the turkey sausage. I wanted to go back and say something to him, but people are crazy these days and I didn't want to get into an argument with people who worked with knives (lol). All kidding aside, the manager should reprimand this worker because he represents the company. I could have just as well gone to Roche Brothers at Mashpee Commons. I don't expect every worker to be "jolly and happy", but a little courtesy wouldn't hurt. It was obvious to me that this person just didn't care and didn't want to be bothered, let alone help me find the turkey sausage!

Your staff needs major customer service training. I'm about to write your store off for good. And you'll lose about 15k a year. I know it's not much compared to your insane profits, but it should matter to you, because it can't be only me. Three times this week, in the self checkout, there were issues with the machines for various reasons. Three times there was no employee assigned to that section to handle customer issues. Added up, I spent a half hour of my time waiting for someone to even notice the blinking light. Then, when I finally was assisted, each time the employee said something insulting. Today, the problem seemed to be, according to your staff, that I should have been more careful scanning an improperly placed barcode. Placed by your staff. But, I got scolded by your staff for not being a careful cashier. Because you don't actually provide cashiers anymore. It's really bad form for employees to scold customers. It's literally a 15,000 dollar mistake.

I would like to credit Brad in the Meat Department for always being friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He is always pleasant and kind. He is a wonderful ambassador for the Mashpee store. He should give lessons to those in the produce department on being pleasant to customers. There are a few who are sour and seem to hate their jobs. Kudos to Brad!

I'm sorry to say that I couldn't give this Stop and Shop five stars because of experience today. I went to the Citizen Bank, now called just plain old Citizens, to see the wonderful employees who work there and I grabbed a pink lollipop. The pink lollipop was such a let down, it was an indeterminate sugar sweet flavor and not a flavorful strawberry flavor that I was expecting. Very disappointed in this.
