Citizens has been a good bank for me over the years. But I am really writing this review to thank Fenton for helping me out with a new debit card when I severely needed it. He is very professional and makes you feel comfortable. Thank you.

Poor customer service since we opened our acct three months ago. They never ordered our checks, gave us wrong acct numbers delaying our direct deposits. Obtained a cashiers check to buy a car. They wrote the check to the wrong dealership requiring us to make a second trip. Never apologize. Rude and obnoxious staff. Think we will change banks.

Citizens Bank focuses on feeing customers to death, and at the same time being indifferent to customer's needs. I tried to withdraw funds from an IRA on 31 December.....when the Mashpee branch was open. They were unable to do so because the main IRA office was closed. "No problem" they said, just come back after 1 January. I asked if that would be credited to the 2016 tax year...they assured me it would. When I returned to the bank on 2 January they stated that any withdrawal would be credited to the 2017 tax year. That mistake cost me a substantial amount of money. If getting virtually no interest on your money, and getting fee after fee from the bank is what your looking for, Citizens is where you want to be banking.

The Citizens Bank ATM that is located in this branch shortchanged me by $15.00 on July 18, 2016, when I withdrew funds with a Visa debit card from my own bank. My bank is submitting a claim for the money that I was shorted which makes sense, I suppose, but Citizens Bank, in the person of Jay Fabbio, the branch manager, claims that there is no reason that Citizens Bank should refund me the $3.50 service fee. Evidently Citizens Bank believes it is entirely without responsibility in this situation. Regrettable.
