“Everything was delicious! Great portions. Worth the 45-minute drive.Parking: Really depends on the season. Summer weekends it can be hard to park. Weekdays or off-season there’s plenty of parking.”
“I rented the Collective Co. for a branding and lifestyle photoshoot and it was an absolutely perfect backdrop for my shoot. The photographer loved it too! Most importantly, the process for renting the space was super easy and Marisa & Rachael were super responsive throughout the process. Definitely consider The Collective for any events or photoshoots you have!”

“We could not be happier with our wedding ceremony & reception at Jones River Trading Post in December 2023. We went with the vendor package and it was so nice to have Michelle coordinating everything throughout the planning process. Everything about our night was lovely and we have had so many guests tell us that they loved the food & the whole experience of the venue. This place is a hidden gem on the South Shore. I loved the cozy set up with lots of plants, mood lighting, and a variety of seating available to guests while gathering around the dance floor. Cannot recommend this place enough!”
“We had such a wonderful experience with 1620 Winery from beginning to end! The venue itself is so beautiful and unique, it was the perfect setting for our October wedding. We had a large wedding with over 200 guests. Jenn and Ashley were amazing and helped us figure out the best floor plan and timeline of events taking into account the size of the group. The whole wedding was executed seamlessly. The service of the entire team, coordinators, chef, waitstaff and bartenders, was truly unmatched and made such a different for us, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the Winery. We can't recommend the venue and team enough!”

“Saw the play Ellen's Boys at the Beal House. Victoria Bond is a tour de force as the shrewish Irish mother who doesn't like "eye-talians" and those of "Jewish persuasion". The playwright Jim Sullivan tackles the worst of the 1950s and 1960s in a lace curtained Irish home sprinkled with pictures on the wall of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and JFK . Funny at times, the cast delivered a powerful look at blatant prejudices that made me cringe. The only glimmer of hope was a ticket to NYC.”
“We had our wedding on October 7, 2023 and everyone had a blast! The attention to detail that the staff took while setting up everything was amazing! I saw the room before the guests entered and it took my breath away! It was so beautiful and elegant, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! The food was delicious- we had prime rib and NE chicken. My husband’s grandmother uses a walker which I told Victoria, our event manager, and the staff accommodated to her needs so much so that she said she felt like she was “at a Kennedy wedding” . Several people have told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I’m so glad we went with The Lakehouse. They catered to the bridal party so attentively and they truly do make your day so special! I am beyond grateful to them!”

“One month ago my wife and I got married here and it was absolutely the best day ever. I can’t rave enough about how fantastic everyone was. 1. The food was incredible, I couldn’t stop eating the steak skewers ? 2. Angela and Maria are amazing! They keep on top of all the things you need to get accomplished before the wedding so when the day actually arrives, you have no stress at all and while to some people that could seem like a lot, it’s actually the most helpful thing ever. They’re both super sweet and beyond knowledgeable about every subject related to the wedding be it where you’re staying, how you’re getting to the wedding, signage etc. 3. Seg (the bridal parties’ personal assistant that they provide) is amazing! He made sure we were having fun the entire time and made sure our drinks were always fresh and never empty. 4. They made the planning fool proof, from set up to clean up everything is taken care of. Honestly I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to have them as my wedding venue! 10/10 recommendation ❤️”

“High energy provided by the St Pats 5k runners, and a fabulous D.J. playing base-thumping music while we "chair-danced" and enjoyed an exceptionally tasty supper brought to us by the most pleasant waitress we've had in a long time!!! What a great way for us two "oldies" to feel alive again (and have a delicious meal.) Great job Venus II.”
