Yesterday I had the pleasure of opening a new account at your Post Road branch in Marlborough. Manager Judy Bell could not have been more gracious and helpful, taking time to answer my many questions, and making me feel warmly welcomed to my new community. I had previously dealt with a large nationwide bank and routinely received horrendous customer service. I thought all banks were like this - until I walked into Main Street Bank. Thank you, Judy, for lighting up my day.

Love the staff and most bank policies. However closing the sudbury branch is bad.Now have to drive 20 minutes to do banking.Not why I went to a small people friendly LOCAL bank.

I love this branch. Everyone is friendly, if I have a problem it gets fixed right away. I work alot and only go into the branch a couple of times a year and they always greet me with a smile and my name.. recently Emelinda Gomes helped me with a friendly smile and knowledgeable advice about my account. I could have joined my work credit union but chose my local main street bank for the convenience and quality care.

I've been calling and asking what to do about an expiring card as it keeps getting closer and closer to the expiration date and they kept telling me that it was mailed to my house and now I'm left with no access to my bank account. it's July they have been reassuring me that everything is fine and that it's on the way since the beginning of June or earlier. turns out they lost it in May! and no one bothered to check what was going on even though I called multiple times throughout June. again it's July now still no card and they had no idea it was even lost even though I've been calling for updates! this card has been lost since May if they even sent it and I've been trying to get a new one this entire time now it's July! not fine. how do you leave a customer with no card even though they've been calling you up to the expiring date. how do you not realize a card has been missing since May especially when you've been contacted about It? i have no access to my funds because of their lack of caring. on the phone they told me to come on in to resolve the issue but the lobbies locked. I'm going to go ahead and say not the best communicators. they're really careless with their words and customers, which is risky business when it has to do with your financials. thinking quite a bit about switching. I've been with them for years but it always seems to be something unusual and infuriating going on.

So mad at this place. My mom who is elderly, went to transfer money from her savings to another bank and then was harrasse by the clerk and manager who kept asking her what she needed it for. Which for me is completely inappropriate!! We will be going with her to change banks ASAP and I wish they would try to ask me why she wants to take HER MONEY OUT!!!
