“Kind Goods is a gem in the area and has everything you could ever want or need when shopping for a treat for yourself, a gift for pretty much any occasion (host gift, holiday, birthday, just-because, etc) and for all of the people in your life. Kind Goods is more than a shop - the owner, Michelle, is exceptionally thoughtful, caring, and spoiler alert… KIND! She goes out of her way to get to know her patrons on a personal level, remembers little details so well that she can curate the perfect gift for them. That alone is more than enough to make me feel good about giving the shop my business, but on top of it, she sells goods that are thoughtfully crafted, fair trade, sustainable, made locally or in small batches AND she makes sure her staff are well taken care of. It’s rare to find any one of those things these days but you can truly find all of that here. If I ever need a pick-me-up, even just walking through the shop makes me feel lighter because it’s so gorgeous but it doesn’t hurt to stumble upon your new favorite mug, candle, blanket, art print, etc. either! ?”

“Ashland Reiki & Wellness Center is an absolute treasure in Ashland. The shop has the most amazing things, perfect for gifts - full of healing crystals, candles and jewels and so so much more! But what makes this store a true gem is Hannah, the owner. She is a magical energy healer and an even better human being! As a reiki master myself, I can attest if you are looking for an amazing reiki session and healing, Hannah is who you want to see! And she has the most amazing room where the reiki sessions take place. It’s a beautiful experience! I truly can’t say enough good things about this business & this woman! Do yourself a favor and pay a visit Or schedule an appointment for reiki! You won’t be disappointed I can promise you that!”

“This is more than a yarn store, even though that's why I was there. They have an excellent collection of yarns to choose from, well organized by weight and color, though it can be a little frustrating if you're trying to locate multiple colors of the same yarn. However the staff makes up for this with how friendly and helpful they are. They have good recommendations as well.In addition to yarns, they have a collection of locally made goods. They have some home sewn items as well as local jellies, jams, and preserves. There are always a selection of baking mixes as well. There is a lot to choose from, giving the whole place a country craft vibe.There are classes, workshops, and knit-alongs offered, as well as a program that offers badges for skill completion, which is a fun tie back to scouting days. The whole vibe is welcoming and enjoyable.This also may not matter to some, but I've had some challenges being of a more alternative appearance in shops in the past because of my piercings, tattoos, and less conventional fashion. Perhaps it's the lack of constantlu wearing knit goods... Mostly this comes in the form of people expecting I know nothing about crafting, but it gets under my skin because I've been knitting for over 15 years, though I don't keep much of what I make or only use it with historic dress. However, here I've been given a good reception, and while there have been questions about my experience, it's never an assumption, and generally it's with the express purpose of guiding me towards selections that would meet my needs, or to suggest ideas for new techniques or tools that would appeal to my skill level. It's a refreshing change.”

There are some greeting cards and some nice stationary for men, plus some calendars that might be of interest to men, but 95% of the merchandise offered is of interest mainly to women.”

“One of my favorite places ro ever go. Great to go in tbe winter to get a break from tbe cold and snow and breath in some of thr fresh air. I find myself a lot of times just going here to look and am always really impressed with how they arrange and decorate and then inevitable almost always fall in love with something and have to buy it. Must stop for whenever we are in the area. The ultimate value is in your life improvement for just walking in and getting the nice things that you cant find other places and that improve the quality of your life. “I have been coming to this Acton location for The Paper Store for several years now, especially during the holidays to get a new yearly LANG Songbirds calendar and to continue finding out what's new for Hallmark ornaments (especially The Bird Series line of beautiful ornaments)! The staff here is friendly, the prices are reasonable and you can find a gift for practically anyone on your holiday shopping list! I'll be coming here every year until they stop selling the calendars or the Bird Series of ornaments ends production (I don't see what it would, hundreds and hundreds of birds to make ornaments based off of)!”
