After over 30 years with DCU they are causing me to close my account. I remember walking in and signing up for my account on the old Digital Campus in Colorado Springs. Now after my Father passed they have shut down my mother account and no longer let her view anything online. Any transactions she does have to be through a shared bank or over the phone where they are kind enough to tell her she could just do it online. Apparently they no longer innovative when it comes to systems and how they work. Instead of letting a 30+ year membership stay with them and figure out how to keep all of her accounts the same they would rather make her a client of a new bank. After countless loans, credit cards, and great memories with DCU I am leaving. Just goes to show you how little they care about even there long standing customers.

This bank is a scam. If they don’t scam you in the short they’ll definitely do it in the long run.

Play close my account after being a member for seven years I apply for a credit card got approved and and with the same inquiry approved for a car. I’m still waiting in the mail after 2 1/2 months to know why my account was close.

I’m extremely disappointed, My account have been locked for over 3 months now, Everytime I call to customer service they put me on hold and after 20-30 min they come back telling me my account is under review and they will contact me back, Come on 3 months? Does not sound good enough to review and realize everything is fine. I feel like they don’t really care about it because they even refused to transfer my call to a supervisor because according to them the answer will be the same. This is definitely lack of customer service at all levels.

I took a loan from this bank is been over a month. I sent all the documents they needed and I am still waiting. Customer service don't even show that they care. They just tell me that they can't do anything. Legends saids I am still waiting. Terrible customer service

Your customer service is so incompetent, they seriously don't know what they're doing this is my second issue I've had with them. You call them for help and they can't even help they pass you to someone else it's a joke.

Called to follow up about an offer to settle my debt. They complained that they didn’t hear from me (when I have been communicative and had to call them to follow up). They agreed to a settlement, then called back at their end of day and said no we don’t have record of that. When I brought up the call recording it was sorry we cannot access that. So I have to wait until next week (hopefully Monday) to hear back about a 3 minute long phone call where they clearly said they will email me the settlement agreement with the agreed upped amount. Not only that, but they called me at the end of the day and we’re annoyed to speak with me when I tried to work with them on it. Very much not happy with them. Also the app really stinks so there’s that. If you want to many with them just know it’s going to be forever and they’re nice until something goes wrong on their end and they try to cover it up.

Good experience with DCU having purchased three different automobiles. Use them as an ancillary bank and as a Savings account. Have had nothing but great experiences and the customer service is awesome.

I must say it would be a shame if ****** [I didn't get a last name] didn't get recognition for his outstanding customer service. As I was applying for a ********************** card, I was disconnected while waiting for my paystubs to be reviewed. This after already having to call back to resubmit a more up to date paystub.****** assured me he'll call me back if we got disconnected and finished my card application. Afterwards, we reviewed my card and my finances. We noticed that I had a lower APR on my card. This may seem advantageous for some, but I have no issues paying off my statements and we switched instead to a rewards card which would benefit my situation more.******'s incredible friendliness mixed with his curiosity to find the best match for me made my experience opening an account with DCU well worth my time.Thank you DCU and please recognize ****** for his excellence!

Where the heck is my BillPay? I can no longer find it anywhere!!! You guys are screwing me again!!! It is gone with no warning, and I have bills to pay. I better not get any late payment charges or a poor credit rating because you people took it away. As people can see, it's not under "Move Money" and not under "Transfer Money". In fact, it can't be found ANYWHERE on the site!!! You people are really something. Can you get any worse?

Dcu used to be a great place to bank but recently my online banking info was compromised/hacked twice where someone tried to log in and do an external transaction to an bank account I Never heard of this is unacceptable and a massive security breach and dcu needs to do something about this so it does not happen to any one else I am happy to say I will no longer be doing my banking at dcu because of this issue and do not recommend dcu to any one they are better off to conduct their banking needs elsewhere

I am a 42 year member of DFCU. Work experience was in the world of programming, computer, applications, and computer product marketing. DCU's web upgrade has been an embarrassment. I, like other members, am a Quicken user, synch'ng DCU data to my PC. With the web site upgrade this past winter, the new site no longer works no matter what I try. It's infuriating that DCU has not had the courage to post status of dealing with the problem. Or, sharing details of what worked for those who may have been successful. I understand the complexity of application development and the challenge of implementing, but I do not understand hiding behind well meaning agents who have not been given training and answers. I find it odd that it is impossible to find a phone number for at least a corporate DCU member relations person who could obtain status and post. This has been ongoing for 5 months. The words which come to mind are negligence, cowardice, incompetence. I believe a new CEO has been appointed. Perhaps consideration for members now in the dark will return.

Couldn’t log into my account after I had ordered a new card so I called customer service and spoke to a man who I could see was trying to be helpful, but seemed as if he had little knowledge of what he was doing. Was placed on two holds and both times he came back and tried to propose ways to solve the issue, like deleting and re-downloading the app, logging in on the website, but nothing seemed to work. I was going to be placed on yet another hold but instead of putting me on hold I was hung up on with no call back. I didn’t even bother trying to call back because by looking at these reviews I knew my issue was not going to be resolved no matter who I spoke to. Have never had problems like this with DCU as I am a loyal member, so I am very disappointed to be faced with their unqualified customer service.

On 6/9/2022 I submitted an application for a **** card. I provided several pieces of private information including my social security card, drivers license, date of birth, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. I have never received any confirmation or declination of my application. I would like to know with whom my information was shared and how to delete all my personal and private information . All inquiries by me have been met with long hold times, incompetent help and inaccurate information and a general malaise as to my situation. I have also copied the attorney general in ******* to safeguard the information that was provided to you and to which you never responded.This company has so many complaints against it I'm surprised they are still in business. I will do my part to make sure no one I know does any business with DCU. An embarrassment to credit unions nationwide. They should have thier charter pulled.
