I called to get a price on having my v8 bored 0.030 over and was was told 800 to a 1000 ! I have been getting quotes between 400 and 500, I was told price was so high because they are busy?

Aubrey is a very knowledgeable machinist and a very pleasant person to do business with. Our shop has engaged his services for cylinder head work and flywheel resurfacing and he has done a great job every time. It is good to be able to trust his work because most repairs that require machine shop services are very labor intensive and have no room for error. His turnaround time has been good and you definitely get what you pay for when you use Aubrey's Auto Machine.

Aubrey did my 1970 LT-1 engine. On time, on budget, and didn't attempt to do work that was not needed. Couldn't ask for a better guy. I chose him after interviewing a number of shops. Highest recommendation.
