Very dishonest, misleading, and unhelpful.We bought 2 chairs online from Marion Antique Auction that they looked great in pictures. However, when we received them; they looked totally different in color and the chairs were not as described in the description section. The chairs have very bad stains all over, very bad holes, and smell. The chairs did not meet the description specified in the listing.We contacted the Marion Antique Auction to make a report as we thought that we might have received a different set of chairs; but they were very unhelpful and stated that there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue.We urge the Marion Antique Auction to be honest in their business dealings.We don't recommend Marion Antique Auction unfortunately.

I drove up to Marion to collect a couple pieces of African Art. Great experience, friendly staff (like family friendly). Plus the items were super great - the drive back to DC was well worth it!!!

This auction always has unique items at different price points. I received a beautiful gold bracelet from their last auction [picture in comments]. I found their staff to be very knowledgeable and accommodating. They also made sure to follow covid protocols, which made me feel comfortable to bid in person.

Just stopped by an estate sale they were running, listed online, only to be told that they weren't open today, but when I said it was listed online, they told me I could shop early for a $100 donation! Outrageous and unprofessional!

This is a very unique auction house. They do not coordinate their bids across their platforms. It's rare that with all of the available technology they don't take the time to do things correctly. You can never trust your bids with this auction house. You'll bid, think you're the high bidder, and then they'll sell the item to someone else for the exact same amount of money.I worry for people that consign to this auction house. Because they do not coordinate bids properly they are costing their sellers a TON of money. This should not and does not happen at other auction houses.My advice is to stay away as a buyer because they don't really care about you. Most importantly stay away as a seller because they are costing you TONS of money.NOTE: I have 25+ years in the auction business and have helped to start some of the largest online auctions in the country. The issues this auction has with managing their bids isn't something I've seen in years. It can only be because they simply don't care enough to help their sellers maximize their sales prices. Shame on them.

I came here while visiting Marion and the nearby area to see what the store had to offer. I was so surprised to see how much of a selection they had. They not only had a barn, but also a house full of things to look at. They had a large assortment of books as well as furniture and decide rations. Things were reasonably priced and in good condition. I wish I had a u-haul or pickup with me at the time to actually bring things home. I'd recommend a stop in!
