They all try their best and are very friendly. You might see a different doctor on every visit and get a different opinion and recommendations. It can be confusing.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. All they want is your $$$. It does not matter what your wishes are for your pet. They say one thing and do another. Also, Be careful with the grooming department they are not educated on what your animal needs in order to be groomed or not. Pathetic.

I have been taking my dogs to this vet office for the last ten years. However, I have decided I will never bring my dogs here again. First, an appointment had been made for my dog for last week that I had NEVER scheduled. I guess it was just scheduled for me with no notice so I had to call and make an appointment that actually worked for my schedule.
So, I had to bring my dog in to get two vaccinations. In addition, I wanted to talk with the vet about getting bloodwork done because of an issue I noticed. However, since my dog was taken away from me into a room while I was left to sit in the main lobby by myself (never had this happen), I was not afforded an opportunity to speak with anyone. I never allow my dog to go somewhere without me in a public place, especially when I do not know or fully trust this new vet. I figured they were going to weigh him first or something (which is still odd) but nope. They conducted the whole appointment without me present. To say I was infuriated is an understatement! I also have no idea who this new male veterinarian is but I am not impressed whatsoever. It appears that he likes to upcharge clients and cares more about making money than actually listening to the owners and caring for the patients. He also comes across as condescending to which I have zero tolerance for.
Furthermore, I have communicated countless times in the past that my dog is reactive to other strange dogs. Yet, as I impatiently waited alone in the lobby for my dog to be given back to me, the vet tech decides she is going to bring my dog into the main lobby area where there is another dog sitting two feet away from me. Luckily I reacted quickly enough to grab the leash and walk out the correct door to avoid any incident. The vet tech had the audacity to ask if I had paid yet which I had to snap back at her that I was bringing my dog outside to my vehicle and that I would be back. I was able to safely get my dog to the vehicle and had to walk back inside the lobby to pay for my appointment and was slapped with a bill of over $200. The additional costs were never discussed with me at any point. I should not be charged for things that were not clearly discussed with me first that I would have then agreed or not agreed to on the spot. Unbelievable! I was never afforded the opportunity to speak with any vet in detail and this office should be ashamed of what transpired.
This vet office used to be exceptional and I can’t believe what a disaster it has become. I am still FURIOUS. I have recommended so many people to this vet over the last 10+ years and will be warning all of them of how much it has gone downhill.

I had a really scary moment this week where my cat vomited blood. My usual vet, who I had even just seen that morning to pick up a prescription, wouldn't see her at any point that week because they didn't have time. They recommended I take her to an emergency vet or call around.
My cat was otherwise acting normal and was stable. I didn't want to drive her 45 minutes to the ER and spend 8 hours in my car waiting for her to be seen. I didn't want to take up valuable emergency resources from other pets that weren't stable. I unfortunately know what it's like to lose a pet at an animal ER.
I called 11 different local vets. 11. None were willing to see my sick cat this week. My last call was Marion, and they were the only place willing to fit her into their schedule during the week. They also informed me there was an urgent care in Plymouth. I had no idea. I'm a local groomer and a lot of my clients love Marion, and now I can see why.
I ended up bringing my cat to the urgent care, but I am very thankful for Marion Animal Hospital being willing to see a new sick client and informing me about urgent care. Thank you so much.

The staff here are all wonderful, and the practice doesn't take advantage of your wallet in any way. Their prices are very fair.

I had been bringing my dog and cats to Marion for years. In the past three months I have spent over 2K in routine visits. The service and staff are great, however, they are no longer economically sustainable for our family. They cost more than other local vets for their services. I was given the estimate at time of drop off (not at the pre operative appointment that also cost me about $400). After the sticker shock of $700, I frantically called to stop the procedure but it was too late. Dr. Francis took $200 off and asked me to find another vet. I had already found one, but after all of the money and the vaccines for life enrollment for my pets, I found it incredibly neglectful and disrespectful. Also a bit pretentious. They lack a sense of empathy and humanity especially in this case of wrongdoing. But I suppose if you live in Marion, cost is of no concern to you ;).

Marion animal hospital is one of the best veterinarian offices around. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my animals. All the techs are kind and gentle and treat your pets like their own. The veterinarians are highly knowledgeable and thorough!I bring my personal animals as well as many rescue animals from local cat rescue. Dr Francis is always willing to go the extra mile for the worst cases we see. Also shout out to Kennedy for fielding all my phone calls and Eli for always being there to help us financially!

Price gouging at its worst. Calling around, found kitten/cat spays to be $100 for the pre opp visit and $350 for the actual surgery. This was same cost at 3 different hospitals I called locally. Marion's is SEVEN HUNDRED! not counting the pre opp costs that rang in over $300. Care more about money than you or your pets so we'll be going elsewhere.

The last year has been full of poor experiences here, and I've had many visits as I had 3 cats, 2 of which were kittens getting up to date. I don't have it in me to write out all my experiences as it is long, but I have taken my kitties elsewhere now. I appreciate the office manager being kind and hearing me out in my long conversation with him. However, I am still very bothered and disappointed by my experiences.

The very best care for animals in this area!
