On impulse, we bought Great Hill Blue Cheese at Lee's Market in Westport. Our favorite way to have blue cheese is with a very ripe, sweet pear. Wow, the Great Hill Blue is fantastic. Mild but flavorful and a perfect match to the pear. For us, it was comparable to Rogue River Blue for a fraction of the price.

Had this today on a toasted Bay's English muffin. Best Bleu cheese I have ever had. Smooth and tons of flavor without being bitter. Having it made in Massachusetts is a big plus, and fairly close to home means truly supporting local businesses. You cannot go wrong if you love Bleu cheese by buying Great Hill cheese.
