The Harbor Light Inn in Marblehead left us utterly enchanted! The location was spot on, with ample parking—a rare gem in most hotels —that made our stay hassle-free. The historic rooms were a sight to behold; their classic charm blended seamlessly with modern comforts. And those beds? Pure heaven! The attention to sustainability with glass water bottles didn't go unnoticed—it's the little things that matter. Plus, the thoughtful touch of chocolates on the nightstand added an extra touch of warmth. The public spaces, from the cozy bar to the inviting dining and living areas, were an absolute delight. Our day started off with breakfast served in their communal dining room with other guests (we had previously filled out a menu of requests for breakfast) and it was served coursed with fruits and yogurt first, than an egg strata that was divine, with thick bacon on top, followed by a slice of housemade blueberry coffee cake. Plus all the coffee and juices we needed to stay hydrated and start the day.Being within walking distance to Marblehead's Main Street and all attractions made exploring the area effortless and perfect for a fall getaway. The Harbor Light Inn truly shines when visiting the North of Boston. Its prime location, coupled with the cozy comforts and attention to detail, made our stay unforgettable. If you're seeking a historic haven with modern conveniences, this inn is an absolute must!

This past Halloween season we made plans to come back to the Harbor Light Inn. Our plane was delayed, we missed connecting flights, it's was awful. But throughout that whole fiasco, the kind people at Harbor Light checked on us. When I told them we wouldn't be arriving until the wee hours of the morning they told us it was fine. They left us a way to enter and had fruit and muffins waiting for us on our room. I can't recommend this lovely bed and breakfast or the people who work there enough. We will be back!!

My wife and I are so glad that we booked this inn! Although we spent the majority of our time in next-door Salem, we loved how peaceful and historic Marblehead was. We cannot say enough good things about the inn itself. You get to stay in a gorgeous historic building, with the kindest and most helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was provided in the morning and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you are in the area!Rooms: Our room was on the third floor. It was incredibly spacious and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in that wasn’t our own! We slept so well!

Decided to do a mid trip review, so far we have been here two days and have two more to go. Staying here for our one year wedding anniversary, and we can’t say enough! Quiet, clean, and incredibly cozy rooms. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Perfect for our first time in Marblehead!

Just a 9 min walk from old burial cemetery. (A hocus pocus scene). A small walk to a couple of cute neighborhood bats on the port side.Rooms and the entire place is old and Victorian which is cute for me. The only complaint was the bed, it's only a tad bit too hard to lay on.Everything else was great. Thanks for all the coffee Stacey!!!Nearby activities: Hocus pocus cemetery. The landing. The barnacle.Walkability: Walkable town in general. All the houses were built in the 17-1800s.Food & drinks: Breakfast is good.Noteworthy details: Rooms are spacious in this old Victorian house that's now an incredible bed and breakfast

From the moment my husband and I entered Room 22, we were welcomed by soothing classical music and a delightful display of chocolates, accompanied by champagne flutes and a bucket of ice – a wonderful touch! The bed was both firm and comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The Victorian-style inn exudes beauty and charm, and the bathroom in our room was exceptionally spacious, featuring a luxurious jacuzzi and a convenient stand-up shower. While the shower head could be improved for a more enjoyable experience, it didn't detract from our overall satisfaction.Breakfast was a highlight, prepared fresh and served with care. The common room offered a perfect setting for a game of chess while enjoying the melodic tunes of Frank Sinatra. The inn's bar and the outdoor pool added to the luxurious ambiance, making us eagerly anticipate our next stay. Looking forward to returning and reliving this delightful experience!

This was our second trip this year, at the Harbor Light Inn. The staff and service has been great. The rooms are nice. The breakfast choices change daily. We always look forward to seeing what they were having each day. The parking lot can be tight for larger vehicles.

I'm definitely glad we choose to stay at Marblehead instead of Salem. This quiet town was quaint and still full of history. Special thanks to Mary who checked us in for our 2 night stay. She was helpful, made restaurant recommendations and suggested we take the walking tour of Marblehead. The breakfast was good and the room was pretty spacious. Outside of being in the common areas, I didn't know there was anyone else staying at the inn. My wife and I will definitely be back.

stayed here with my girlfriend from 9/17-9/19 and they were nothing but very kind and generous and showed us a tour and let us keep our luggage there to see around town while we wanted for our room, will definitely be coming back when we come back to boston.

Could be much better for the price tbh. Lots of old rich white people there whi h shows what demographic the area is trying to appeal to. The beds are hard and stiff, and the extra blow-up bed was not much better for the guest we had with us . The main attraction is the jacuzzi, and even that was decent. Btw no elevator, so guess who had to carry up 2 heavy luggage up the 2 flights of stairs smh . No mini fridge, the microwave is at the dining area, which I mean it'd either that or in the room. The price is for the jacuzzi, and that's that, tvh per night if I had it my way no more than 275 max. 426 (includes the extra bed for 35+) is just no ?. Anway, that's my fault for expecting more driving 5 hours from Brooklyn, NY, over here for this, on my birthday, too, lol. That's for reading my review.

Our stay exceeded all expectations! We stayed in room 35 and it was so charming. The light classical music playing when we opened our room door was a great touch. The amazingly comfortable king sized bed and the robes made us feel at home. The hospitality of the staff was so welcoming, and the options for breakfast and light pastries offered are delicious. This is a B & B you do not want to pass up!
