We were visiting from out of town and my daughter urgently needed her migraine medication refilled. This pharmacy went above and beyond and called the prescribing pharmacy in California at 530 on a Sunday. They were so kind and helpful and came through during a crisis.

Excellent hard-working staff. Convenient. Great after holiday sales on seasonal items. It's the town's favorite drugstore.

A great staff, hard working and just very nice. I happened to come on an evening that was super busy and I could hear the pharmacist juggle calls between two doctors, the other two pharmacists were practically doing gymnastics in the tiny space behind the counter filling and ringing up prescriptions for people. Great job!

They don't answer their phone. The recording Is not helpful. I f you want to talk to a live person you can't. I'm from out of state, visiting in Marblehead. The CVS on Atlantic Ave is as poor as the one in my area. I wish the WalMart were closer.

I’ve had my prescriptions at 7 or 8 CVS locations now, since I’ve always needed medication and always moved around. I have never seen a CVS pharmacy like this one and I pray I never do again. I’ve only lived in Marblehead a few months, so it’s only been a few months I’ve been picking up prescriptions here, but I’m already transferring my prescriptions father away. I showed up for a vaccine appointment, they didn’t even have it. I had questions about my medication but guess what I can’t speak to the pharmacist because a certain employee neglects his training. I was a pharmacy tech at CVS myself, and I can’t imagine how even someone of older age can’t understand the duties, they are simple. This place is slower than the ancient POS systems CVS uses.

For a pharmacy it easily gets five stars. Patient, communicative, compassionate. There is one pharmacy associate who has zero bedside manner but with five stars I am not here to back handedly compliment, merely pointing this out because even the staff member who can give off the energy that it's a chore they are still totally unproblematic as far as fulfilling the service goes. Frankly that is WAY more than I can say for the vast majority of every if not every medical service I am connected with in Massachusetts. So if the worst person on staff still fulfills their job role at the end of the day, that's a rare gem in local (possibly national?) healthcare!

I have had so many problems with this location. It's is absolutely awful. The pharmacy staff especially one woman which I won't name is always rude to ever customer I have seen her with. She has been horrible to me when picking up my prescriptions. Only person that has ever told me my prescriptions are "on back order, but we will have it tomorrow" I asked the name of a medication she raised her eyebrows at me and yelled the name of it infront of my children. Gets aggravated every time I go in and pick up for myself and my two children because it's more work for her. Like if you don't like your job, DONT DO IT! I also had another experience with the front clerk, my son went in to buy a toy car with his own money and the man had a look of disgust when my son started pulling out his money. I tried to make it nice for my son and say to the man "he is paying with his money it will only be a minute" the man was very rude to my son and said "this is taking longer than it needs to" mind you my son was 5. I said can you have some patience or some compassion and said "I don't need to" I walked out of the store.

Until now,I had never written a negative review, & I have written quite a few reviews in my time. Never have I met so many nasty//cranky employees iin one place, until I visit CVS in Marblehead, which is the town in which I live & love..Pleasant & helpful staff members can be counted on one hand.I did an errand for an elderly neighbor,& I dared to ask a question.,at which time I was“snapped at “” from Phamacy.!Thank u to the friendly & helpful workers at this establishment who make it all worth it! I hear these complaints from others. These are frequent occurrences . One should not take your bad mood out on the customers! Terrible thing!

Been getting asthma meds for almost2 yrs. Called in refill yesterday 3 days before need and told out of stock and won't have till maybe Wed - Holiday today. My body doesn't know it's a holiday, I need this medication to BREATHE. Store should have medications ordered on time for regular customers, or have delivered from other CVS stores (3 in just a few miles from Marblehead).

I went in to pick out a couple of cosmetics. I wanted to use the self check out machines (2) but they were busy. I went to the employee to check me out. Interestingly enough when it came to using my coupons (one had come in the mail to me that you could not transfer to your app), she asked me "what's this?". Sort of an odd question to ask if you are giving a CVS coupon to the clerk. And when I said I wanted to use all of my discounts, she also raised her eyebrows. Again, another reason why I like to use self check out! I got my eyebrow pencil and black mascara for the win however!

Sometimes the alarm goes off all night long and no one changes it. The whole area around this store stays up all night. This is how health care is.

Pharmacist and assistant are OVER WORKED. THEY DO THE BEST THEY CAN but only one Pharmacist and one assistant is WRONG . THIS IS the company's fault, not staffing more help. Corporate should hire more. Even one part time. Shame on CVS!!!!!

Ever since states have pushed for higher minimum wages and other economic factors have driven up costs businesses really, really want customers to use the self check out. I'm not a fan in general of self check out (I don't work there and unless I'm getting a discount for using it I'm not a fan), but I was at this CVS today and both self check out stands weren't working properly. Instead of shutting them down and opening a second register I got told to do something (I didn't pay attention, but I could tell that it was something I really shouldn't have had to do). So I simply left my over $100 worth of items and left the store for another store whose systems work.
