I had an appointment in the beginning of October, which I confirmed via email and received a confirmation text about two days prior. When I arrived an owner advised my hairstylist was out this week with Covid, which is completely understandable. I asked why no one told me earlier, she said I was called. I advised I was not and doubled checked all call logs and voicemail. We confirmed my phone was correct, as supported by the fact I got a confirmation text of my appointment. Yes, I was a little annoyed that I drove through Halloween traffic in Salem (not a small feat) to get there, but really any compassion on her part would have probably made it better. Instead she was defensive saying she called. I asked if maybe an email in addition to a call would be better in the future. She responded something to the effect of ‘what do you want us to do call until you answer?’ Given the fact I confirmed the appointment they probably should have tried harder to reach out to me. The issue was really the lack of compassion and the steadfastness that she was right and I was wrong. She said if I wanted to wait for around a half hour someone I had never met before squeeze me in for a quick cut. There was no introduction or brief background on the fill in stylist’s experience, so I refused as I didn’t want to spend over $60 for a cut with someone I knew nothing about. What was especially irksome is when I confirmed the appointment there was a cancellation fee of 75% of the service if done within 48 hours. Here, they knew they would need to cancel at the beginning of the week (my appointment was on Saturday) and I didn’t get any notification. It is clear that the salon does not care about their clients. I was shocked by the poor customer service and would not recommend anyone go there.Service: Haircut

My boyfriend & I loved everything about our experience getting a couple's massage! We came in on a Sunday and were attended right away. The place is cute & super clean and the masseuses were amazing. It was a relaxing and fun experience and absolutely loved the customer service!

Not for highlights. Tried Bliss on the high recommendation of a family member (and the salon itself it beautiful) but unfortunately not the same quality of highlights I'm accustomed to. Here you can see where my highlight line was pre-covid by my previous salon and the dark portion is Bliss. The stylist spent a long time with me and was very sweet but for 300 for a partial foil (pretip and without a blowdry due to covid) for just over shoulder length hair the results were dissapointing. This picture is the same day of the salon visit after I had blow dried at home due to covid safety precautions

I have been going to Bliss for almost two years. I could never let anybody else touch my hair again! I have tried so many salons and my hair cut and foils were no where near the quality of Bliss. Lexi does my hair! The foils are always right to the root. The color is amazing and perfectly blended. The cut is always completely even, and always looks good, no matter how I wear my hair. Everybody compliments the color and cut, even months later it still looks good! Sometimes I wait a little too long. Lexi never makes me feel bad and always gets it looking great again! She also takes a lot of time to make sure everything is perfect. She does a very professional job. The salon is a great get away! It’s not crowded. There is plenty of space to relax.

Gil has been cutting/coloring hair for my sister, my mom and myself for the past 10 years! During most of that time I lived abroad and I still waited to come home for holidays just to get the Gil treatment. He is kind, passionate, a great conversationalist but above all- he is incredibly smart! He will always give you hair suggestions to make you feel beautiful and would never lead you down a path of encouraging you to go the same blonde as JLo when you’re Irish (true story). Gil is family to me and I not only trust him with my hair, but I trust him in general. Also, I think he makes my mom feel more beautiful than she ever has and to me, that is priceless. Bliss salon as a whole is so wonderful and welcoming- you can walk in feeling “blah” and leave feeling like a billion bucks.
