“Honestly this is probably my favorite place to eat in downtown Salem, Mass. It’s inside the mall and it’s in sort of a weird location but if you love Polish food like I do, it has excellent kielbasa and pierogi - and the ladies who work there are so kind and funny no matter when you go in (and if you aren’t eating your food they’ll come after you like they’re your mother). You can also get some imported food items as well and it’s also a functioning deli so you can bring home meats, etc. I visited at least once a year and have for the past two decades.”

I shop here regularly for produce in particular. Local raw honey. ice cream, lots of other stuff. definitely worth checking them out”
“This place has a huge selection of stuff that you both need, and don't need, but WANT. Cooking supplies, kids toys, board games, puzzles, wine, cleaning supplies, hats, beach stuff, candy, bags of different sizes and styles, and the list goes on. The staff was kind and courteous, and the store's prices were fair.”

However, purchased what I thought was fresh beef today that said sell by Oct 8 (todays the 5), I opened it and it was brown under the where the sticker price is and all throughout the meat. Disappointed, I thought they carried high-quality meats. Would add pics but already threw it away!”

“This is a small shopping center anchored by a Shaw's supermarket -- not just a grocery store. There's a liquor store, a Walgreens pharmacy, a pack and ship store that accepts dropoffs for UPS and FedEx, some medical/dental professional offices and more.”

“This place is amazing. I have been looking for Zevia soda up here which is usually pretty expensive. Not even Common Crow had it and I spent $240 at that place just buying a couple things. At Market Basket I bought groceries for two weeks AND 13 six packs of Zevia and spent $170. Great selection all around.”
“We had a great experience with this location today! What we feared to be a 180+ dollar shopping trip was only 140 after all, with the sale items! Parking looked shaky at first, but it was easy to get in and out during our trip. Other respectful customers can be seen in the aisles except for a couple of exceptions. Plenty of the items we were looking for were in stock and cheaper than expected. I would recommend this location more than I thought I would this morning! Awesome seeming staff and great selections!”

“Used to live down the street and shop here regularly. Hadn't been here in about a year. Just stopped to grab a couple things while visiting nearby. They've changed around the store quite a bit. More organized and modern looking maybe? Still had some good sales, so prices still seem to be better or very competitive with other stores. Good selection of groceries and prepared dinners. Good employees & good prices.”
“I was visiting family in Massachusetts and had to get some last-minute supplies. I stopped into the general store and was greeted by a nice man, Joe. I usually have anxiety talking to people, but he made me feel very comfortable and helped me to find everything I needed. He was very professional and greeted with a warm smile. I asked what was good from the Deli, and he suggested the Wills, and it was surprisingly very delicious. The store was like a step back in time, and I thought it was very nice.”

“Have been coming here for decades since i was a kid. Great, friendly service always with a smile. Subs are made on the spot with fresh soft bread and top notch deli meats. Perfect little pit stop on the way to the beach for sandwiches, beer, food etc...Always have to stop on the way home for slushes too.”
“Richdale Convenience Store is always a pleasure. The store is clean they have excellent produce and meats. Also I like that I can check out and scan my own items which helps me feel good about social distancing.”

“AMAZING NEW OWNERS!! Although we all Miss the stores last owner "Henry" I've been coming to this store since before I could see over the counter! Over the years the store slowly emptied and Henry was gone now there is a hardworking very smart younger man who's boughten it and has completely FILLED the store!! I live around the corner and he's the only business open late on bridge st if u need something quick late at night! Definitely stop In and check out the new store and help it grow!!! I will continue to go to new market as long as it's their for the next 30 years haha”

“To be honest, Shaws’ was never my go to market for groceries because I was always under the assumption it was super expensive, when, in fact, the truth is, it’s actually a great grocery store and it has a lot of selections other grocery stores don’t have. But I also love having the app and being able to get coupons and points to get free items. My go to is normally Market Basket, but recently I have been shopping at Shaws and shows only.”
