My husband and I shop frequently at this home town hardware store. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Being so close to our house, it's easy to just pop in for what you need and someone is always there to help you find what you're looking for

I needed a new gasket kit for my 1980 wood stove and all local stores were sold out and not going to be restocking the product. I finally was able to locate the product I needed but it was a short distance away around 30 minutes. I have not been to this town since the 1990's. Well, I got lost; my car has a 2010 GPS, it was dusk, almost no street lighting and unless you live in New England, the roads along the coastal towns are based on the old cow paths. The store was closed when I got there, I did leave a voice mail to let them know I would come in the morning but would call to see if they still had it because it was their last one. I deciuded to drive home and a few minutes later, I got a phone call from the store, saying they would wait for me and to call if I got lost again. I did ,but was only yards away.I always prefer to go to a small family owned business; it has been my experience that they take a personal interest and try the best to help you find the right products and go that extra mile. I am so grateful, because not only was the product unavailable my hometown Ace Hardware, Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes and even on Amazon. Now I now what I need it and will install tomorrow, just in time for winter to return!!

Living in Manchester, I visit this store a few times per week and it always seems to have exactly what I need. They have any type of household good you could want plus anything you need for whatever project you’re doing. Also, every one of the staff is exceptionally helpful and nice.

The second I walked in I thought I was in heaven everything laid out right for you to see, each individual item they all had their own peg, two nice gentlemen at the front desk ringing customers being polite knowing each person's name, I walked around and found things that I haven't even found at home Depot, there were bins of all different size screws nuts bolts bring in what you have, compare it; buying one by one. I know people say that that's a bad way of doing business if you're only selling one nut or one bolt but me going in for that one nut or one bolt I ended up buying $90 worth of things, and next time I'm in town I won't just prefer to go to this Ace hardware I'll search it out.
