I added a line to a family plan and was told that my next bill would only be $50. But then I was surprised to receive a bill for $150 just for a SIM card. That's called a scam.

Went in with my Mom today. She doesn’t speak any English. There was a gentleman with a short beard and a gold chain that helped us out. (sorry I should have got his name) But the service he provided to us was truly exceptional, my mother kept ranting about how good the service was and how far he’d go if he kept it up. He setup my mom up and gave us both peace of mind which was amazing after a Thanksgiving holiday. Five stars all around to you friend

I would recommend going to a corporate verizon store. I do not want to blame the rep that I worked with because I really do not think this was his fault. I was charged $291 to upgrade my phone. When I was asked if I wanted accessories I said no thank you because I had already bought accessories on Amazon. When I said this, I was told by the rep that I would have to pay taxes and fees and that if I purchased the accessories those taxes and fees would be waived. Not only did it cost $150 for a screen protector and a clear case for my phone, I also still had to pay the $50 tax ontop of a $15 accessory tax. I really and truly feel so scammed from this place and when I called Verizon to ask why I was charged what I was charged, they told me there was nothing they could do because this store is a third party retailer.I would just go directly to Verizon corporate to upgrade. If you do choose to go here- make sure that EVERYTHING is explained to you including them showing you the exact dollar amount they are charging you. I felt bad because I went in late and I didn't do my due diligence- but make sure you read the fine print or you will get over charged.

Went to get a new phone and got the a high pressure upsell for an Ipad promotion. We were charged $85 fees and promised the Ipad would be in the same week. 3 weeks later with no Ipad in sight I was told promotion no longer valid. I asked for my money back. It took 11 months, 25 calls and visits to get my money back. The manager Charlie was the worst. Never called back and very difficult to deal with when I saw him in the store. The ONLY reason I got my money back was i finally called Russell cellular corporate. Never again will I go to that store.

SCAM; NEVER do a trade in promotion here. i finally paid off my iphone 12 and they literally robbed me off it. They told me i’d get a free upgrade with the trade in (any condition was okay). gave them my phone got a 13 i told them id only do if it kept my bill the same. and now i get charged monthly for financing. Left the store paying $300 then once the “trade in credit’’ was suppose to “kick in”after two bill cycles it never did. I called customer service was told they had ZERO records from the store of my $300 or my trade in. made me delete it from my icloud and forced me change data plans to the one i had just to get $20 a month more. Legit considering small claims court

I cannot over state how deplorable this business is. I have never left a google review before but I feel the need to protect others from being defrauded thousands of dollars as I just was. You will be upsold on products you don’t need, and then when you try to return them you’ll be charged egregious fees or told that what you are returning is final sale - information that was never shared before you purchased. When trying to get money back on an iPhone we PREORDERED, we were told the only way to get money back was via check in 1-2 weeks. I was charged $100 in setup fees (it’s $35 at a real Verizon store and I set up my phone myself), $50 for a screen protector that I didn’t ask for didn’t want and the sales person put on my phone and then threw away the box making it impossible for me to get my money back, and $125 in “restock fees” for products I was sold under false pretenses. This is a deceptive and unethical business with terrible customer service and I advise anyone to stay away. There were multiple other unhappy customers in the store at the same time as me, and from reading these reviews I know this is standard practice. The store manager was just as rude as the sales person and refused to properly refund me.I have already reported them to Verizon corporate, will be disputing with my credit card, and if necessary will file a lawsuit against this business. Don’t be me, go to a real Verizon store.

Try to avoid this store, do your math before you arrive, best is to check online confirm the promotion.Because the rep named Francisco lauhana has no clue, he doesn’t even want to work there, was calling uber eat to sign up for delivery while we were there infront discussing on plans and promotions , seriously that guy shouldn’t even be thrObviously he flaunted all fake deals which I had to drop in for several visits to correct it. Obviously there is not turning back damage is done. Stay away.

this is not a verizon store, despite it's appearance. It is a privately operated business, and will charge fees for services above and beyond what verizon will charge you. The signage on the store is only for verizon, the parking lot has signs that say "parking for verizon customers only", but this is not a verizon store. If you google search for verizon stores, this is a top hit, despite not being a verizon store. This is a deceptive business practice, and I cannot recommend this business to anyone. There really ought to be a consumer protection law against this sort of business misrepresentation.

My wife and I have been using FIOS for years and recent changes to her other carrier’s plan made it the right time to bundle our services. We came in on a very busy weekend and got some wonderful service from Mo. He was holding down the fort alone and kept a great attitude the whole time.

Came in to return a piece of equipment. They somehow cancelled my entire account and required an hour+ call and $50+ to get resolved

I was in and out. Great. However, the representative had zero customer engagement and clearly didn’t want to be there. Walked away and didn’t even tell me I was all set. I had more questions but he literally just walked away and did not say anything. Told me I need to buy a new charging block. Turns out I did not need it. Spent money I did not need to. He made no effort to connect to us or make sure we were satisfied.I felt because we went through customer service Verizon via phone and went to this location to pick up the phone and the employee did not make commission off our sale, he made no effort to treat us like customers. Did bare minimum.

Not a real Verizon store and is a privately owned scam. If you reach out to Russel Cellular customer service by email they'll just claim they have no control over what happens at the store and told the manager to reach out, but then they never do. This is the absolute worst customer service you will ever come across in your life. I came to get my own verizon plan and phone, which I was told would come free because I'm a "new" customer but then after removing me from the plan said there would be a charge for the phone and played d*** about it. Then says I'm not a new customer because I was on my parents verizon plan (if so then why tell me before that I fell under the new category). When I asked to cancel and refund the order I was told it had to be a check mailed, and couldn't refund my credit card I paid with. After a month still no check, so I said to cancel it and issue a new one to be picked up at the store. They said it can't be issued in person, obviously because they never plan to actually send it and keep people on the hook for their money until they give up. Fortunately they chose the wrong girl this time because I don't care if I have to call the store endlessly! I will be a thorn in the side until I get my money back. They charged me tax and then I didn't even receive the item. I've already filed a complaint with the better business bureau which takes a month for them to respond to, so hopefully for them they pay me back before they are contacted! Going to Ben has your back and a few others. I'm sure I will be getting this resolved one way or another. The only reason they won't refund to your card directly is because they want to keep commission by hiding the return and never give your money back. They have it out for me because they've issued checks in person to other customers but won't for me. Such discrimination. Can't wait to see what kind of useless comment the owner responds with this time. Some generic nonsense he writes to every negative comment on here but then does nothing to fix. Hope this business enjoys having complaints on their permanent record beyond meaningless google reviews. This is just the beginning of where this goes if I don't see my money in the next few days! My lawyer will be in touch soon if not. Best of luck to the owner of this fraudulent business! Holding on to tax money is definitely not legal.
