The teller I was working with was great and answered all my questions. But another teller there trapped me in conversation with her once my transaction was done for what felt like ten minutes. I bank online when possible and have great experiences with Salem five overall. But if you are looking for a quick bank trip, watch out!!

Very bad service by the workers. Every time I go in, they never greet me and I realize that it is a habit so I decided to close my money market account. I was originally planning to bring most of my money to this bank, but after constant bad service I've decided to go somewhere else. The Black guy that close my account didn't even ask me the reason why I am closing it and he was on the phone when I walked inside. Also the Spanish guy saw me and didn't even say he will be right with me in just a minute.

Lost my job because of covid. I owed them money, was in fact going to be paid off. My account was still attached to the IRS and Salem Five corporate (not this location in particular) took what I owed without my permission from this 1,400 stimulus check when they had the opportunity to take from 3 other checks.If you had reached out by phone number which I had told them my phone was off and to respond by email when I was trying to pay them back and reopen my account. Then you reach by EMAIL.I'm glad that it's paid off and I can move on from this bank corporation. Thank you for not taking myself back as a customer.

This place is garbage and 100% judges you on the way you look. Froze my account over a $4k money order. If the "teller" Haviva or whatever her name is had taken two seconds to look into my account she would have seen that this is a regular occurrence with my business. She probably wouldn't have frozen my account over a transaction that I do 2+ times a week. Instead, she chose to judge me for my clothing/appearance and completely fudged up my bank account. It has now been 8 hours, I have no access to online banking or my debit card. Every time I call customer service they put me through to the same teller that locked my account. She refuses to hand me over to the manager. Tl;dr Salem Five is pretty great, but stay away from this branch.

The worst online banking I have ever had. They only allow online withdrawl of $5,000 a day, so if your withdrawl is more than that limit, it will have to be multiple days and multiple logins. This is not required by law, they just do not want you to take money out of the bank. Their phone customer service rep is cold and unfriendly. Don't use them. Never seen a bank put on such stringent restrictions on their customers.

I've had a checking account with Salem Five for going on 9 years and I have no complaints! My parents have also done plenty of business with them for over 25 years! Great bank ocerall!
