I have a membership, and I go to maintain my weight loss by consistently working out to keep things toned, and by constantly moving, you are not subject to immovability by just sitting around. Plus, I paid my membership, and it would be a waste of my money if I did not use it to its fullest extent.

Theres no equipment, place brings a crowd of people that sort of stands around. Has essentials but everything safety proofed except the few dumbells.

If you're in the market for a gym that specializes in frustration and incompetence, look no further than Planet Fitness – It's been nearly two weeks of banging my head against the wall, trying to get some semblance of help from both Danvers and Malden locations. I've called each club more times than I can count, and what do I have to show for it? Nothing but frustration and a sinking feeling of regret.
Picture this: You sign up, excited to hit the gym, only to find out their app has a mind of its own and assigns you to the location furthest from your home. No biggie, right? Wrong. When you try to fix it, both Danvers and Malden pass the buck faster than a hot potato.
You'd think a simple transfer between two branches wouldn't require a degree in rocket science, but apparently, it's beyond the capabilities of the staff at either location. And don't even get me started on Manager Silvia – her attitude made me feel like I was begging for a favor instead of trying to resolve an issue caused by their own system.
After countless calls and zero progress, I reached out to customer service for a glimmer of hope. Spoiler alert: there was none.
But wait, it gets better. When I dared to call again for assistance, I got hung up on.
And the cherry on top? When I finally mustered up the courage to ask for a refund – because let's face it, they had wasted enough of my time and energy – they had the audacity to tell me they would cancel my membership instead. How's that for customer service? Cancelling my membership for being the problem? I don't think so.
But hey, the latest update is that I'll supposedly be getting a refund in a few business days. So, let's wait and see if they can actually deliver on that promise. I'm not holding my breath.
Sorry, Planet Fitness, It's my right to get my money back for not even being able to make it through your doors.
So, if you enjoy the thrill of being passed around like a hot potato, by all means, give Planet Fitness a try. But if you value your time, sanity, and dignity, do yourself a favor and find a gym that actually knows the meaning of customer service.

I’ve been a member for several years. I used to love this gym despite its negatives it still has what I need, HOWEVER; as of recent I have had an issue with an employee, the one who was working today at 830 am. Normally at that time a woman is working and she’s great! This man has only been there working a couple times that I have been there. I’m sure fellow gym goers understand how IMPORTANT their routines are and how beneficial they are to their lives when gone as planned. MY routines have NOT gone as planned twice now due to this employee. I tan everytime I go and nobody cleans the tanning beds by the way, if anyone is wondering. Well, I do before and after use but if a member isn’t cleaning that bed after they use it you BETTER believe that nobody is. I contracted Mercia from this gym. You can witness this by sitting in there for an hour on any day, now I NEVER complained about that before, because as I said above everything else USUALLY goes well. I was asked for eye wear one time when I signed up and never again and I go atleast 3 times a week. Now I’m not sure about anyone else but I don’t just carry eye wear around for no reason. I went to the gym a few weeks back in the rain and was randomly asked for eye wear by this employee I speak of. I explained how I didn’t have eye wear because I was never asked before and it’s been several YEARS ?. I ask if I can pay for eye wear on my next visit? He says no. I explain that I live 45 mins away and it’s raining. I ask if he can charge my card that he OBVIOUSLY has on file for the eye wear, he says no. I leave, walk home and back in the rain to go tanning because I had a function to go to the next day. I didn’t work out because I had to walk an extra 90 mins that day because of this. I woke up the next day sick, shocker… I chalked it up as my own fault as I know how anemonia is contracted. ?. This a.m I walk in and low and behold this man is working again. I don’t have eye wear because it’s been atleast 4 WEEKS since last time, I have been to the gym atleast 15 times since then and was never asked for eye wear. You need to either ask for eye wear or not or else your CUSTOMERS will not be prepared. Obviously! So today I started to cry, I asked him to please let me pay him for the eye wear tomorrow he said no. The eye wear cost ONE DOLLAR by the way, but I guess SEVERAL years worth of being a LOYAL member isn’t worth ONE DOLLAR ?. I figured it was worth a shot and after 15 mins I asked him to explain to my WHY EXACTLY that he couldn’t charge my card for the eye wear? He wasn’t able to explain why and THEN he SUCCESSFULLY charged my card for the ONE DOLLAR eye wear after me begging for 15 minutes. So you mean to tell me that I walked for NINETY minutes last time over ONE DOLLAR That he absolutely COULD have charged my card but lied and said he could not?!!? I literally asked him why he was so inhumane especially at a time when the world is so evil and humanity should be sticking together?! I have met enployees on power trips before like this and it’s so ridiculous. He isn’t getting paid more for not helping me?! He wouldn’t have gotten paid less forrrr helping me?! If anything it would be the opposite so he literally did all of this because he isn’t a good person or he’s taking his problems out on PLANET FITNESS’ PAYING CUSTOMERS ! Unreal!!!!!

Good for ladies but no real weight lifters
No CrossFit zone
No deadlift bars
I mean it’s annoying ?

If I could go negative stars I would! WORST customer service ever!! I have been a PF member before and have had positive experiences. This is NOT a positive gym! Deplorable customer service!!
