“Tino's did a great job repainting our home and fixing exterior moldings and trim. They were punctual, detail-oriented, on budget and left a clean worksite behind when completed. The house looks great and we have received a lot of compliments, both on how it looks but also from people who regularly walk our street and saw their daily work/process.”

“I’ve been here to copy keys and buy paint a few times, and the people are incredibly helpful. It feels like a friendly neighbor lending a hand, which I really appreciate! Special thanks to Chase and the gentleman with long hair - both were super helpful and patient in explaining the different paint finishes and tools when I'm only buying a quart of paint. It’s a place that feels nostalgic and familiar, like a neighborhood shop where the friendly owner knows your family. They even have a cat named Indy who watches the store at night for them?. Love here.”
“What do you need? Copy of a key. Fuses for electrical box installed in 1949? Advice? A hard to find doorknob replacement? This little shop is the best. Always helpful!”

“I had a wonderful experience working with Shawn and Tommy. I needed to replace a bulb in my microwave oven. After finding the appropriate part, both men were able to assemble and disassemble the outside, and insert the new part after some drilling and replacement of screws. They were cool, calm and collected during the whole ordeal and never appeared rushed. Thank you to everyone at the store, I will visit again soon!Susan LundstromLexington, MA”

“Really nice hardware store which has all the tools and small things one would need for the home without having to drive all the way to the suburbs. Very friendly and courteous staff. Only streetside parking so can be a bit of a pain but if you're walking for a quick supply run or taking the T, this place is perfect”
“Excellent place for landscaping equipment! The staff is extremely helpful, and takes the extra time to make sure that purchases are the right choice for the customer.”
“Since we lived in Firestone Park in the 90s, I almost always go to this Ace Hardware. But about a year ago when I needed some screws that would go into concrete, I was in the Falls and stopped into Menards "to save time". The customer service representative was eager please but had zero knowledge about what I was asking or where to find that type of screw. We wasted at least 20 minutes. So I left straight from there and came to Ace hardware in Firestone Park, and they knew exactly what I needed and suggested a drill bit that ended up being perfect for my needs. They have always been highly knowledgeable, helpful, and the prices are great.Don't waste your time anywhere else ?”
“Highly knowledgeable and friendly employees. Stocks many items for a small store. Accepts cards and cash. Street parking is available in the heart of Inman Square. Small aisles.”

470 Tremont St, Boston“Had some keys made, worked as expected, and 1/3 to 1/2 price charged at Home Depot (keys didn't work).
Service was quick, friendly, and professional. Hidden gem in the SE, full hardware store.”

444 Main St, Stoneham“I don't know why I took so long to review them.
This place is awesome, you will find things here that you can't find at the big box stores.
Prices are competitive.
If you need assistance you will get it immediately, unlike the big box stores.
Also they refill your propane tank, Which means you get a full tank not a three quarter tank like the tank exchange places for the same price.”

125 Main St a1, Stoneham“We have been renovating an old home over the last few years and the final project was a complete kitchen redo. Eric Rikeman from Adams Kitchen came up with an excellent design, that changed the layout to one that is modern, efficient, and smart looking. The quality of the cabinets is outstanding and the installation was expertly done. We actually had Eric and his team come back recently and do some custom cabinetry in our dining room to match the kitchen. I very highly recommend Adams Kitchens and Eric Rikeman.”

280 Blanchard Rd, Belmont“I was in there today for a vexing problem about a dripping spigot. As always, Tom knew exactly what the solution was. I said, "I feel bad coming here, getting valuable advice, and walking and paying 80 cents for a washer." "Leave a Google review" was the response from the fellow standing next to him. I see that I already left a 5-star review 3 years ago, but I'm adding some text. Also: embarrassed to admit that the other day I went to Home Depot looking for metric machine screws. I looked today, and the supply at Hillside is better and cheaper.”
“The customer service service at this company is Tier 1. I had a complicated project and their friendly staff helped me lay it out and source all the materials and tools needed to get the job done.”
“Love Ace! They always smile when I come in and are never bugged by my endless questions about what to get for my various DIY projects. They have a great selection across the board.”
“I had a problem involving my contractor buying the wrong ceiling (flood) light housing units. He was awful so I didn't realize the problem for many months after purchase, and had opened the boxes, but the owner here was kind enough to work with me. Highly recommend.”
“Beden Hardware is a great place for all your hardware needs. The staff go out of the way to help with any questions you may have about your project. You can't go wrong here!!”
“Helpful, friendly staff! Greeted me with smiles, humor and made me feel appreciated. That is what's most important to me, because while I can get paint anywhere, I know I can come here and feel valued. Thank you!!”
“I had gone to a different hardware store to get a paint match and it wasn’t right at all so came here and the two women working with the paint were incredibly helpful despite me not being able to give very much information they helped me save money and i ended up with a perfect match for my damaged wall because of how thorough they were. Huge thanks to them!”
“Best place ever. I am a jeweler and they always help me out whether it's inspecting or refilling my tank to make sure I'm good to go or helping me find a part.”

“First of all, these guys are the big boys of plumbing supply. Professional. If you are looking for some doodad for your house, you'd probably be happier at Home Depot or the interweb. If you want to buy commercial grade stuff from people that have everything that you'd need for a commercial job, from people who know what they are doing, this is the place. I'm from California and I only WISH that I had a place like this near me. Appreciate what you have.”
“Terrific selection of all sorts of hardware. Really nice showroom makes it a lot better than looking online. We needed a new set of entry door hardware, and Ron could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Great service.”
7:30AM - 5PM
442 Main St, Wakefield“This is what used to be called a "mom and pop" hardware store. It's small, by Home Depot standards, but it has an amazing inventory and enough people actually interested in helping you. If you live in the community and have a need for some piece of hardware, a tool, or fixture of some kind...come here first. If they don't have it, fine, hitch up your dog sled and go to Home Depot. But start here first. The town is worth it and so are the people who run this little jewel of a company ou!”
8AM - 4:45PM
