Bad serviceI bought a new game for my son...He tried to play and it wasn’t working.... I came back today and Keith’s service was terrible.... I wanted to understand what kind of policy is this?It makes no sense that if the game doesn’t work there’s no way to return it.... I was poorly attended and I was trying to understand.... And he said that I was being rude but it was him who was.... Terrible service.... I have 3 stores, I would never do this with a customer and I would try to explain it very politely..... Also the only thing he would keep saying is “This is the policy” it was very annoying. He kept saying that we couldn’t return it since we opened it. I don’t get how we’re supposed to know if the game works if we can’t even open it up.To me this shows he doesn’t have respect for customers.Malden Game stop Bad service

People inside were nice ,but did not know what they were talking about. When I went inside to trade in myNintendo Switch for a new one ,the person inside said that I would not need to transfer my data and refused to let me transfer the data due to the online membership saying that it will include data saving. MOST GAMES DO NOT SAVE YOUR DATA. So now I have to restart all my 200+hours of games . Good people ,but not good information .Will never go here again.

Gave me a ps5 with errors and I wasted gas to even go thereCustomer service was overall passive aggressive and it rubbed me off the wrong way I just wanted to then get my ps5 and leave turns out ps5 had errors before I even really got to play it

Would give no stars if I could. BUYER BE WARNED FAULTY PRODUCTS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!I recently purchased a pre owned ps4 controller Ayer a few uses I noticed that the L3 button was faulty and be came progressively worse in a few weeks. I called the store to discuss the issue and was told that I couldn’t make an exchange. I was told that the controller was plugged into an app before hand to test in store. When I inquired about the specifics of the test as I am dealing with a hardware issue not a software issue and I fail to see how an application can test hardware by simply being plugged in the store associate had no knowledge on the process and said I would not be able to exchange the damaged goods. The store associate had no knowledge at all on the product or how it was deemed “ready” their only concern was keeping the money I spent. Will recommend no one ever goes here. I included photos of the lack of wear and tear an damage on the deviceUPDATE: I was told by corporate that GameStop is allowed to sell defective merchandise as long as the customer does not notice in 7 days

Went in to do a happy return it said if I make a purchase of 25 or more I would get $10 off the customer service rep helping wouldn't give me the deal on a $30 lamp I wanted wasn't helpful about it after I showed the deal and was very rude about it that's not how customer service works I walked out

Bad experience at the delivery of Hogwartz Legacy. I made the pre-order of Deluxe edition so i could play earlier, the employee that was working in the night shift (02/06/2023) said that in the system showed the basic edition and didnt even offered help with the problem.

KaylaJust came in to buy a Nintendo Switch for my Niece. I don't know anything about these consoles, I was fortunate enough to run into Kayla who helped me and guided me through the process. She provided great customer service and friendly non pushy advice. Truly making this Christmas purchase a smart informed and happy one.Thank you!

Website shows inventory, says available for pickup no inventory at store. Waste of time and gasoline. Do no recommend, definitely call before wasting time to go here. Website inventory is not real.Employee was unhelpful. I suggested changing the stock availability to “out of stock”, at least to help some other people. She said she didn’t manage the website, and took no initiative to call or report the stock issue. Very poor customer service overall.

Kayla is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn’t purchase a game at any other store because of the great experience that she provides. She is excellent at her job.

just a personal problem with the store. Went in to buy an item accidentally left one of my personal items at the store and not even five minutes of me coming back and asking them about it they verbally said that they saw someone take it had someone asked him about the item and they said they didn't know anything about it so they allowed the person to take the item out of the store. The employee even stated that he realized that the person didn't know anything about my item. I am just writing this so that in the future this can be reconciled If an employee sees something please place in a lost and found do not give it to customers for free! Because you don't know anything about it
