Kevin McMahon built furniture for my restaurant Ariadne Restaurant & Bar in 2002 and he not only did an amazing job building our banquettes and booths but he was a delight to work with. Opening a restaurant is very stressful, especially an upscale place, where construction delays and cost overruns can put you out of business before you even open. Many vendors I dealt with added to my stress, but even when I felt like I was losing my mind, Kevin was so supportive and his calm, professional demeanor always gave me confidence. Pretty much every restaurateur I know used Furniture Concepts for their projects. In fact, Kevin is pretty much the go to guy for upscale restaurant furniture. Although he doesn't only do banquettes, booths and bar stools. I saw a beautiful Donghia mohair sofa at the Boston Design Center for $12,000. I showed a picture of it to Kevin and he built it for me for a third of the price and it looks just as beautiful todays as it did when he built it for me eighteen years agoago. That's why I'm shocked anyone who would give Furniture Concepts a one star, although I am very suspicious of negative reviews with NO explanation why. Usually when people have a negative experience with a business they want to share in great detail what happened, so this is very suspicious! Of the many vendors I dealt with while opening my restaurant Kevin was the best of the bunch, hands down!
