The owner was an hour late after she told me that she was 15 minutes away. I lost another appointment that I had because of her being late. She had her youngest daughter do my hair and the youngest daughter had no idea of what she was doing. She kept calling mom mom to come and check after every rows that she did. So unprofessional and would not recommend this place to anyone..

I made a appointment at 9 am when I got to the shop no one was there called the number was told by the mother (owner) her daughter was getting her clothes ready...then the daughter didn't call me until 10:30 and said it was not her fault. I am from New York and this place has HORRIBLE business practices...

Worst place ever. Made an appointment for 1030 am and had me waiting well over 45 minutes just to give me attitude about my hair and an unfair price. Could of told me she was going to be running late the day before but had me waiting.Tried to over price my hair, telling me it had to be blow dried, which I already knew it needed to be blow dried. Such horrible business.

As far as quality braids, I would definitely give it a 4.0- 4.5.As far professionalism, communication, creating the customer experience, they get a -10.Booked an appointment a month in advance. The day of, got pushed back for an hour. An hour later, I needed to get in touch with the daughter to figure out how long is the hour wait. No time given. an hour and a half later, I reach back out again and no ETA given except that they live 10 mins away from the store.2 hours later, owner shows up and tries to explain how their poor scheduling resulting in them being at the shop until 2 AM. But still no signs of her daughter. Mother AKA owner tries to convince me that she can get my hair and my daughter's done herself because she has one help (totalling 2 people in the shop.). But mind you, there were 5 other clients waiting so my daughter and I made it 7.7 clients, all getting their hair done by 2 people. Long story short, I receive a text from the daughter some two hour+++ later that says: "Something came up, i'm cancelling."I Thank God for their neighbors because they referred me to the most awesome hairdresser who was able to accommodate myself and my daughter last minute.If you run into their last minute cancellation, overscheduling, long wait times, and whatever else they seem to prioritize over you, your time and the money that you pour into their business, just go next door and they will refer you to this amazing woman whom i have shared with all my friends and family that used to go to Fallou.Maybe customers are not their priority at all. Or maybe it's just certain customers. I know they have lost not just my business, but my friends, family members and my referral as well.Google calendar is an excellent resource BTW to help you book your clients reservations. I really do not think it's that hard to communicate.Service: Hairstyling

LOOK FOR SOMEONE PROFESSIONAL. I scheduled an appointment with the owner on February 19, 2022 for today at 10am. The OWNER showed up an hour & half late & schedule me with another person at the same time. The photo hair style I asked for, looks NOTHING like what I wanted & then had the nerve to ask for full price. When I tried to negotiate, she said we normally charge $150 but I'll take $140. Mind you, I brought my own hair & once again...... she was LATE! NEVER....... AGAIN! I wish I could do NO stars.Service: Dreadlocks

Very bad business dropped my wife off at 10 am it’s now 6:15 pm still not done she called the cops for trying to lock my wife in the store because she did not want to have her hair finished and pay the full amount after sitting in here for 8 hours how your own people do you ??? bad for business if you respect your time never come here we made an appointment first ones here and the last to leave very disappointed with this serviceServices: Braids

0 stars would not recommend. I made an appointment at 9 a.m told her the style I wanted. she told me to come at 4 p.m. I walked in at 4 and she stared at me like she didn’t know what I was talking about and made me wait. Once it was time to do my hair I sat down and she told me she couldn’t do what I asked for and made me get up. How do you own a hair braiding salon but can’t braid every style is beyond me. Throw the whole hair salon away.

This place is consistently unprofessional and not respectful of their clients time. I had an appointment scheduled for 3pm, and they told me to come at 430pm instead. I obliged cause I was happy they at least gave me a heads up they were running late. I show up and they were still not ready for me, and I had no place to sit and wait since 4 children were running around. I just left. Decided to give them a second chance, and texted before i made my way over- and they told me she would not be ready for another 2 hours. For the prices, and for the environment, NOT WORTH IT. If you value your time, book somewhere else- I will be going to Paris Glam Braiding Salon from now on.

There is no doubt the work, beautiful. But customer service, terrible. Fallou does not value customers. I gave the shop and second chance but to no avail, . Keep in mind with all beauty shops, I leave room for delays and contrarieties. I am not sure if they don't know how to gage time for service. But you can't count on an approximation. Most importantly, Fallou respective for time in an understatement. I arrived on time for a 10 am appointment. After 15 mins I called. Fallou said she went home to shower. Never returned: 11:30 called to say she was coming, Her daughter (kind soul), started the braids, then stopped her own client arrived. Finally I called Fallou again at 12:30, She was shocked and assumed her daughter did the job? Not only did Fallou show up at 1PM, But have the nerve to say I only charged you for 3 packs of hair even though you used 4. Seriously! These packs of hair cost, $6.99. Fallou proceeded to let me know, the hair come from Africa and cost her money? Seriously! I had no intention of not paying her. But you were three hours late, it took you another 7 hours to do Senegalese twists, (They weren't even small!) You think that's fair? Instead of appeasing a customer, Fallou proceeded to say I should take into consideration the work she did. And pointed to another customer, look at them they've been waiting. That may be true, but not 3 hrs! After you called to say you were coming. And I was the first appointment! Fallou put $30 bucks ahead of having a valuing a customer. I paid her her $225. God is good, but he does not like UGLY!
