Went to Ethans office to see if I can have someone assist me with my taxes. I was greeted by Megan who was bubbly and friendly. I was a little nervous about having people I was unfamiliar with doing my taxes. Ethan was booked and I got an an appointment with Steve. Everything turned out for the best. I would definitely recommend

My wife and I have been working with Ethan for years and it is a smooth process! Very accommodating and an online portal to upload documents for efficiency.

I used them for 3 years; and each year the customer service dropped. They had my taxes for months, last year and it repeated phone calls and several emails to me to get a response and for them to complete them. Sadly I would not recommend them

I have been going to Ethan for many years now. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my taxes. Not only is he and the rest of the staff professional and responsive, they are also very pleasant to work with. The staff, especially Megan, is readily available to answer any questions I may have. Nothing but good things to say about Ethan and his team!

I have been going to Ethan for many years .I followed him from his office in South Boston .I had always been very pleased with his tax preparation and efficiency . I had always done well by him.. I am not sure what is going on with him now ..I am very disappointed..I still have not received my tax return ..I have contacted his office several times and I can not get past his secretary .I have not heard back from Ethan in months since our initial conversation in April . I have gone to I his office in person several times and no one was there .I am considering reporting to the Better Business Bureau .At this point I could not recommend him at all ..So disappointed .

We were told that our 2018 taxes would be filed on time in April. It is now mid-June and we have no confirmation that they were filed at all. Neither our tax preparer Bob nor the owner Ethan will tell us what is going on. I do not recommend this office. You're better off filing yourself or with another office.

Ethan was awesome. He took the time to explain our return, gave us options and a heads up on what to look for in the future. Everyone pays taxes but having someone in your corner who you trust makes the difference. Highly reccomend.

i had been going there for 3 years but last year my return was audited. I filed my return in february, and was asked for additional information in march. Then I couldn't find out anything for months. I left numerous messages at Ethan Sawyers but no-one ever returned my calls until May when a secretary lm saying i would get a letter. Nothing ever came, i finally got my return in june. very stressful. i am in my seventies and the only difference in my return that year was that i worked less hours and was entitled to a larger refund. i am switching to another firm in Melrose. Very disappointed in the lack of communication. I still don't understand what the issue was.

Ethan is a great tax preparer. He got me money from the state and federal government instead of the other way around for several years. Even went back and got me money from previous years. If it was possible I would have given him 20 stars. His price is very reasonable also. Highly recommend him.

I have been going to Ethan for a few years now. Tax season used to be a time of anxiety and worry for me; no longer! I am much calmer knowing that my taxes are done correctly (he found a mistake the first year and got me a huge refund). He is also a nice person, which makes an hour of sitting and talking about finances less painful than it could be! After the appointment this year, I received a folder in the mail with all the completed forms, pre-addressed envelopes with vouchers for the payments I need to make, and a letter clearly outlining exactly what to do. Absolutely wonderful feeling knowing it is all taken care of.
