My husband bought me a set of stainless steal thermo-clad pots and pans (over $900) for my birthday in January. He purchased the pots after Christmas and I did not receive them until the end of January. Although the set is beautiful, I have no need for new pans right now. Tonight we went in to return the set (unopened and with a receipt). We were told we were not able to make the return because the set was purchased over 30 days ago. The store manager was very unhelpful and unsympathetic to the situation. They would also not give us a store credit. Although it is not a store policy specifically, I will not be returning to the Lynnfield location.

Not a comment about the workers here (they are pleasant & helpful) but the company policy … bought an expensive $70 shaker for Christmas that has already started showing substantial rust inside. Took it back and was told it’s outside of the return window so nothing they can do. Sad that if a product is clearly defective and unusable 3 days outside of the return window, nothing can be done :(Back to Target for a cheaper one I go, at least they last more than a month! Sad to see quality going down at a store that used to sell high quality kitchen items.

Worker with the short brunette hair need to get a new job…. Or just stop being so miserable. Don’t work retail if you can’t be kind! It’s the bare minimum and she can’t meet that. Her behavior while I was shopping was terrible. There was no need for the attitude as soon as I walked in. The whole time she was just yapping with her co worker instead of helping customers out.

These guys are amazing. I called customer service when the item I was holding out on buying sold out online, and the operator figured out which stores were still carrying my pumpkin punch bowl and gave me the phone number for this and another store. Not only were the people at this store super helpful, they didn't charge me full price which more than offset the price of shipping. I don't know if it was already on their sale rack at the actual store, but they could've easily charged me full price especially since the item never went on clearance online. And it arrived at my door step in just a few days. Great store! Great people! Great products!

I love this store and buy all of my cooking utensils from them. However I learned something yesterday that I did not know. They false advertise their clearance. The employees suggest you check it out which I did and found two items. The prices were the same as the sticker price. The only thing clearance about the purchase for them is they stamp your receipt final sale. Ask questions before you buy from their "clearance racks".

I got married in summer 2021 and we were gifted 3 identical flatware sets. In Jan 2022 I got around to the Lynnfield store to exchange the sets for something that matched what we had. I left with 1 set and 2 more on back order for store pickup (so I wouldn’t have to pay extra for shipping). By November 2022 I hadn’t heard anything so I called the store to check in and was told they were still on back order. I was told I would be notified as soon as they came in. On Sept 14 2023 I got a voicemail that “they had finally arrived from when I shopped back in 2021”. I arrived today to pick up and was was told that they had been reaching out to me for a year and since I hadn’t picked them up they put the sets on the floor and sold them. The best they could do is a store credit since they are again back ordered until March. When I asked when and how they reach out to me they waved a stack of papers and said they had reached out so many times over the past year, but wouldn’t let me see the notes. Funny because the voicemail on Sept 14 saying “they finally arrived” was the first I had heard anything which is an odd way to let a customer know their merchandise has apparently been sitting on a shelf for “a year”. I’m not mad at the store for supply chain issues, and the sales associates were fine. The (shift) manager was not willing to talk about it and eager to gaslight me that I had apparently failed to retrieve my items, then the sales associate refused to place another order for me. If my things did arrive a year ago they better figure out how to leave voicemails stating such (I have my voicemails back to 2021) and if it arrived 3 weeks ago they need to make it clear that your items will be held for a very short time then sold. Either way it was an experience that made me never want to deal with WS again.

I can’t describe how awful the employees are in this store. They all seem to be missing the minimal amount of customer service skills that a retail worker should have. Today I dealt with Cheryl…she had the most wretched attitude while I was trying to purchase some bowls. It was as if me, the customer, was making her, the store employee, go out of her way to ring up some bowls. I wouldn’t have bothered going into the store in the first place but I’ve had a gift card to spend for a while. Cheryl made me hate the fact that I spent a gift card in this store. The way she treated me made me feel ashamed of myself for giving this store any money, even though it was a gift card. I’m not advocating that Cheryl be fired but she should definitely be kept in the back of the store and not be allowed to interact with customers.

Terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY SILVERWARE HERE. False advertising on the boxes say dishwasher safe and 60% of the set is rusty after one dish-wash. Customer service made little to no effort to resolve the rusty silverware that says "stainless steel" and "dishwasher safe" on the box.. For the prices at William Sonoma I expect a quality product and customer service. The woman assumed I left in the dishwasher overnight which I didn't. And even if I did the box says dishwasher safe, dummy. I spent $500 there and came back with a false advertising and defective product issue and got a "TOO BAD GO FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN". Avoid TOWLE silverware and William Sonoma Lynnfield.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The store manager, customer service and editing team do not work together. You get passed between all of them with zero resolution. You are better off purchasing the item from another vendor. Better deals and store policies

Racist employees, overpriced expired food is sold here and you will not receive a refund without charging back on credit card. Terrible employees here that go out of their way to really make you feel unwelcomed as if you ruined their day shopping here. DO NOT SHOP HERE

My boyfriend and I felt incredibly uncomfortable and discriminated against as an Asian/Mexican couple walking into this store. Not only were we side-eyed by the older white female employee with black curly hair standing at the very front- who's sole responsibility is greeting customers- but she blatantly chose not to greet us. We wandered through the first section of the store and listened as she warmly welcomed 2 white couples who walked in after us. Soon after, a short white female employee with red hair came over without so much as a smile and asked "do you need any help?" and quickly walked away. We were looking to purchase a knife set, but after this experience we will never be buying from this store. It's 2023 and the company needs to do a better job of training their employees on profiling and discrimination. I'm not surprised to see similar reviews here about the service; even if they weren't blatantly racist, they weren't helpful or proactive in connecting with their customers.

I'm glad to see that others have experienced horrible customer service as well. I thought it was just me. The staff are snobs and absolutely no help whatsoever.

The customer service at this store is abysmal. The person at checkout messed up our transaction and we ended up spending 25 min in line trying to get it fixed. We eventually had to leave the store without them succeeding in getting back the $20 rewards credit I had in my account that they lost. They claimed it would return in 24-48 hrs though it never did. Multiple emails and more time was wasted with customer service after this transaction to try to fix this. Best to just stick with online shopping.

I don't know... Good for killing a little time looking at random stuff you don't need and stuff that is priced way too high. I would say the candles do smell good here if candles are your thing.
