LOVE, LOVE Whole Foods Market in Lynnfield. I can always get a wide variety of gluten-free options. The staff is ready to help me out and find what I'm looking for. The produce is always fresh. It's a wonderful location too! Great spot to shop for groceries, or sit back and enjoy your meal to go from their sandwich shop, fresh pizza, hot bar or dessert.

So fairly standard Whole Foods. But for some reason there's a price discrepancy on about two out of three trips, meaning I end up getting free stuff a lot. They do lie about the MA law sometimes or try to just change the price rather than follow the law. But if you're willing to politely insist they follow the law (as posted ) it's worth it. I've gotten free loaves of bread, mushrooms, jam, sausage, mangoes, apples and a few other things because they are terrible at posting accurate prices.

Very great store at a great location, I went there to return some products from Amazon and purchased energy bars and strawberries. Both of them are great.

2 stars!!Here's why!$$$Prices$$$ are higher than any other mrkt in region & possibly on a global scale. National scale most definitely. That combined with the what I'd call limited options in many food categories. Add a ? on top the quality while in some areas above par DO NOT qualify as better than avg. by much. Freshness = an addition to the clear theme to only offer better than avg options as long as they appear better than other mrkts. Which they do, but it doesn't justify $$$prices$$$.Do they have some unique brands and certain vendors whom serve them exclusively. YES! However it doesn't out weigh costs and slightly above avg food quality, options, and health benefits. What a trip to grocery store must cost a typical family of 4 must be at $600-$800 p/wk. Which despite inflation is ridiculous. Not saying cost to feed a family of 4 at any market weekly is reasonable or NOT utterly out of control! But that's another story for another day.Bottom line is they just don't offer products so inferior in freshness, & quality to justify there costs, or to be blunt historical costs. They didnt nickname it "Whole Paycheck" for nothing. In fact I think it represents many things that are currently wrong with these United States of America.**Please note that I say that with no political agenda, political affiliations, or candidates in mind whatsoever**

I recently visited the store on Saturday, Jan. 6 ahead of a big snowstorm in the forecast, anticipating chaos, but I was pleasantly met with a lovely surprise: efficiency and the most wonderful helpful staff! I hadn’t been to this location in quite a while, but I wanted to shout out Jose in the produce department who helped me find several items and even went to the back to replenish the fresh ginger when it was out (one of the things on my list). He was very busy stocking but he went out of his way to help me find a few items and was so kind. Thank you again Jose!Lines at checkout were long but moved quickly and our checkout person and bagger were also extra friendly despite the store being busy. Thank you to the kind staff for making my visit better than expected!

Whole Foods for me is like an adult day camp. You walk in and see all of the beautiful displays which are like art. You walk up and down the aisles like recess. You get to sample some items, like the cheeses, like snack time. Then you take all of the beautiful things home you gathered like it's your arts and crafts. Some things, yeah are a little more pricey but most I find are pretty much in line with any local chain stores. Organic ground beef at $5.99lb is actually less than my local chain.I can't begin to explain how much I love the fish/seafood department. It's beautiful! Comparing it to other chains? Well you can't. It's fresh and well maintained. Lots of ice keeps it beautifully cold. I've been to stores where the mussels are actually warm. Not good. Here's a tip. But the teriyaki smoked salmon pieces, one per person. Heat a half to a pint of heavy cream and a cup or so of creme fraiche almost to boiling, not quite. Add the salmon and some seasonings. Serve over fettuccine. OH MY BLOG! With a salad and some crusty bread. A nice bottle of a good French wine. Get everything at Whole Foods for the most delicious quality meal. You could end the meal with a lovely cheese board. (Psst, get the sheep's milk with truffles.)I love Whole Foods and I don't apologize for it being my out of the way guilty pleasure.

Too expensive but I can't help but shop there every week. I have both the Amex and Chase prime cards so I get 5% off each time. That means I'm only overcharged by 15% and not 20% ?. I love wholefoods.

Stopped in for a few items. Since I'm unfamiliar with the store, I asked three employees where certain things were, and two were dismissive, and one said she didn't know bc she just started. Hmmm.... she was filling an online order. Not what you expect from Whole Foods.
