Horrible hours. How is the average worker supposed to access their mail. Even if I sneak out at lunch, the staff is on a 90 minute lunch break.

The women that works behind the counter is the most unfriendly, unhelpful, extremely slow person to have worked anywhere. The RMV is better!Despite efforts to be pleasant and kind to her, reciprocation has never been met. Save yourself from her and just go up to Salem St.

Edit: I let my unstable ex husband use my account to bash the post office last year. I don’t have a problem with this office in the least.‘Amid the crisis, no mask to be had on the worker, even with signs posted a person must need one to enter. When I mentioned lack of mask, I was told it’s 6 feet and there’s a small glass partition, or the mail man can get my stuff. From this essential worker’s viewpoint, I’m pretty appalled at such a response when everywhere else I have gone (and where I personally work) implements the same distance lines, same plastic covering and still manage to wear a mask for an entire shift. You think the postal service would join to try and help ease everyone’s mind by having all their workers wearing masks. Think again’

The last clerk was great but the new one is so awful. She mistreats packages and I heard she doesn't let you buy stamps here. She is rude and hostile. I used to like coming here but not anymore...

I'll start off by saying the normal woman who works the desk is great. The current woman "Sally" is terrible. She mishandles packages tossing them and trying to shove them through a slot but then she also goes out to the loading dock and smokes right next to the door with all the mail. She is rude and mean and after speaking with other residents they have had the same encounters.

My favorite post office, the staff is always fast and efficient. The wait time is minimal and Bob is always so helpful. Highly recommended

How much worse can this place get! Having a last minute rush mailing that we had to get into the PO before it closes at 5PM my husband rushed down there and starting putting our media mail into the slot outside the office to avoid the mean blonde woman standing inside. From behind the wall she starts yelling at him that they were not stamped correctly. He asked her why? He told her they were media mail and she said well then you have to stamp them media mail, new rule. We use a Pitney Bowes machine, it stamps them, not us, we just plug in what we are mailing and weigh and print them. She pulled all that he had put into the slot (about 25 at that point) and came out the door and gave them back to him and told him he had to stamp them Media. She also said "I know you mail photos and those cost more, these better be media." As though he was lying to her! What the heck? We mail over 300 dvd's this time of year and not one person has said a word about stamping them and not one DVD has been returned to us with an issue thus far, this was our last batch. In the Spring we mail over $2500 in photos and DVD's. I would call that a good customer. We get treated like absolute crap there. There is one nice young man who works there but other than that the place is a horror show.

Don't be fooled by the posted hours, they close for AN HOUR every day for lunch, so don't bother coming by between Noon and 1pm.
