We contacted Tri-Value looking for an inspection on a house we were considering purchasing. Michael was able to fit us in quickly as time was of the essence. The inspection was quite thorough. Michael took my husband around the property to point out some key safety issues. The final report we received was extensive and very easy to understand. Due to the issues we learned through Michael we did not feel comftorable moving forward with this property. Since we are continuing our search we will be calling Tri-Value again. It was money well spent!

Michael and Joseph provided a fantastic service inspecting our future home. As this is not my first home purchase, I have worked with other inspectors and Mike and Joe were by far the most knowledgeable and thorough. We learned so much at the time of inspection and even more from the extensive write up with photos we received after. I highly recommend their service and if I ever need another home inspection they will be my first call.

As a first time home buyer, my thoughts of a home inspection is already scary from the beginning. Definitely had to prepare for the worst. When I arrived to the potential home around12:20pm(appt at 12:30), I already see Mike getting to work. (I thought he was the seller at first) Upon meeting Mike, very inviting right off the bat, he mentions his years of experience, information about what he does. In doing so, we noticed workers hired by the seller working around the house and he advised with caution about foundation work during cold brittle weather. It was cold and windy that day so very great information to keep handy. As they went to work, Him and Joe WENT TO WORK! Unfortunately there was lots of items blocking the view of potential issues. He made note to keep an eye out. After every room/apartment, he reviewed every detail of every room that had issues or what to keep an eye on. Very Thorough. It’s my first inspection ever, although worried and still preparing for the worst, it was expected. I knew nothing was going to be perfect and that’s okay. He kept it real.I’d rather be in the know of the issues and know of the things to keep an eye out than expect the worst blindly. Him and Joe provided a detailed inspection report with Pictures!!!! (Imagine going to a restaurant, looking at the menu with no pictures but words. I love when restaurants have a full menu with Pictures). And WOW, the inspection report (completed/sent within 24hrs) they provided was very detailed, informative, and great to have. With a separate PICTURE REPORT!(within 2 days) you can tell how much input Mike and Joe had put into this for me. I appreciate this!I 100% feel that when you hire their service, they make it known that they work and do their job to protect and look out for YOU. Again, I am new at this, as I’m thinking about it now, I’m really glad Mike and Joe were hired to do the inspection. As they said, once a customer, you’re a customer for life. So if any issues or concerns I have later on, I can always seek their expertise anytime. I really appreciate you guys.Thank you for a 10/10 service

Initially recommended by other inspectors, they were our first experience with home inspectors. It was really a wonder! Michael and Joe are on time, thorough, they have plenty of details for potential buyers on how to improve all the features of a home. They took their time to inspect all the possible issues in all the key functional parts of the house. As they went through the rooms, they were leaving behind lots of hints and suggestions. Ultimately, they provided booklets and reports with very instructive material and a thorough inspection report, that can be used for a long time to go through all the action items in a house, or it can be used to guide contractors and specialists to give estimates on repairs and therefore help with negotiations! I will recommend them to anyone who asks, I will ask again for their help!Giuseppe.

The only home inspector that I have met that is for the home buyer or home owner. Most home inspectors work with realtors and will not tell you what is wrong so you will just buy the house. Not just a box checker. You get a real report with pics and facts that can be backed up with proof. They also stand behind there word and will tell you what to do to fix the problem. If your buying a home you need a home inspector that is working for you. Also I would recommend them to inspect a contractors work before you pay the contractor there final payment. To many times city inspectors give the OK on Bad work.

If you love Mike Holmes, these are the inspectors for you. They are detailed, thorough, and immensely knowledgeable. They teach inspection to others and have written books on the subject. They were respectful to me, and as a woman that's huge. They explained everything, and delivered exactly on time. Because the house is particularly old, it was reassuring to know more of what was going on with it. This is going to be key in making sure we buy smart and budgeting correctly. I feel confident that we can make appropriate plans for what to fix first and make sound decisions. I'd pay them twice as much honestly. I kind of wish they did architectural tours for old house geeks.

I can not recommend Mike and Joe enough. The knowledge and experience they posses is unparalleled. They even arrived early! Incredible attention to detail and invaluable expertise. I knew they were the real deal when they were recommended to me by someone in the industry. I hope they read this, because I can not thank them enough. I plan to use them for a variety of endeavors in the future and HIGHLY recommend them.

Mike and Joe did a home inspection for me back in April 2021. They were able to schedule me in with 2 days advance notice on a weekend and showed up a little earlier than expected where they started on the exterior of the property. This was my first home inspection and it was the best money spent. My agent said that it was the most thorough inspection he's seen. There's 2 reports with plenty of photos (Total report came out over 100+ pages. Their process is to walk the property and make notes/take photos first and then guide you through their findings. You can tell they know their stuff. We ended up finding a lot of red flags with the home and they ended up saving me from going through a bad deal. Great Guys, Great Service, and Great Prices. Save yourself the headache and go with Mike and Joe.

Mike and Joe are awesome! I received the recommendation to use them from my neighbors, and they had nothing but great things to say. You can tell right off the bat, that they are exceptionally versed in the field. They are very thorough and are working for you! The two went out and inspected a brand new two bedroom condo for me. I went back and forth on whether to do the inspection, since it was a new construction. However, I am glad I did! Even though there was nothing seriously wrong, Mike and Joe were able to point out several things that needed to be added to the punch list, that I would have missed. For example, my stove was missing an anti-tip safety bracket or it just wasn't installed correctly. They were also able to point out a couple of items on the exterior of the building. Mike was very informative and gave me tips on how to maintain items through the home. We had an afternoon inspection and Mike still got be the pictures and descriptions that night. The entire report was in by early the next morning. This is my first purchase and I would never use anyone else. I strongly recommend using Tri-Value Consultants, if you need an inspector. They will tell you every little thing that is wrong and that is how it should be.And they are also two Paisans!

Joe and Mike are the greatest inspectors. They have saved my husband and I from buying not one but two dumps. One a few years back, and one a few weeks ago. When we arrived at the property they were there early already diligently inspecting the outside as we walked around. The time they take during their inspection (one home/client a day) to inspect, explain and write up such a detailed report with diagrams and detailed explanations we couldn't help but to keep both reports! They are so knowledgeable and talk you you with the utmost care as if this is a house they are going to purchase. My husband and I are hoping a third times the charm and will have no one else but Joe and Mike to be sure about our potential home and if we need them again there is no doubt we will call up Joe and Mike. I would highly recommend them, they truly have your best interest at heart. Thank you again!

Michael Scaduto was recommended to me by a good friend long ago. He said that Michael was thorough, knowledgeable and worth the price in gold. When I found a house in Weymouth, I asked Michael to inspect the home. Yes, he arrived early, but that should not deter or anger any buyer's agent. He immediately inspected the outside of the home, the foundation, and anything accessible. Then when my realtor arrived, she let Michael in to continue his inspection. I noticed there was a review that he didn't want to be followed by the buyers as he inspected the home, that is false. He welcomed it as long as we were not in the way. He was hired to do the job and that is what you want. After the inspection and receiving the report, I had my friend who is in capital projects to review the report and walk through the Weymouth home. He confirmed that Michael was spot on and I decided not to proceed with the home purchase because it would have been an enormous renovation project which I did not want.I found another home in Stoughton and called Michael to inspect it. He did his inspection and I reviewed the report. I moved forward to purchase the home in 2010. As a gift, I was given a book that he and his father wrote on the basics of home maintenance and repair which I still have to this day.Currently, I'm in the process to purchase a new construction home in Massachusetts since I sold the Stoughton home in 2016. I called Michael for his advice if a home inspection is needed for this type of purchase. He said that he would be robbing me, and any home inspector as well, if he/they inspected the home; at every stage of completion for the home (e.g., electrical, plumbing, etc) it is inspected to meet code. If it doesn't meet code, it doesn't pass and the builder will need to address the issue immediately. However, if at any point during the construction that I feel the work is questionable, to call him and he will go to the construction site and inspect the work, and notify me of any concerns. In addition, any questions that I may have on the products, process, code, etc. used for the new construction to call him at any time. He emphasized again to call him at ANY TIME.It's hard to find authentic, honest, and quality professionals in this line of work, let alone in this day and age! As we say in the business, you get what you pay for and with Michael Scaduto, you get quality, honest reviews for the price you pay.

Great Inspectors.Mike and Joe recently inspected a possible house purchase for us. They showed up early to do an inspection of the grounds and house exterior - and then spent an additional 5 hours reviewing the house in detail, accessing every space they were allowed to.Importantly - they are very clearly working just for you, their client and make it very clear that their only obligation is to you. They are experienced and knowledgeable, and they are very good at explaining the issues they find ranging from minor to severe. They are informational and to the point so that you can make an assessment as to the condition of the house and the financial risks you might be incurring. They provided a 60+ page report to us within 1.5 days, and made themselves available with quick turnaround for follow up questions and clarifications. While our purchase did not go through - I would recommend Mike and Joe without hesitation. They are some of the only people to be unquestionably "on your side" during the house buying process. I fully plan to use them for our next house purchase.

Mike and Joe did several inspections for me as a potential home buyer back in 2014-15 and another one again this month. Those who stand to make money from the sale (sellers and agents) are frequently hostile to their inspections - that should tell you all you need to know! I have always walked around with them (extra precautions during COVID) and their inspections are very comprehensive, so that you can decide if the property is worth what you are about to pay for it. They never advise for or against a purchase, just give complete information, so you know what maintenance and repairs you might need to do in the future. I have passed on several properties due to their inspections, but when I buy again, am certain I will understand exactly what I am getting into. Update: Bought a house after their inspection. Still plenty to fix, but at least I know where to spend my $. Thanks Mike and Joe!

Mike and Joe are the best in the business! I've used them three times now and they prevented me from buying two money pit houses (third time's the charm!) Mike and Joe arrive early and get right to work. They aren't afraid to get into all the tight spaces and they do an extremely thorough job of inspecting. They tell it to you straight and explaining everything they see to you while pausing for questions. The next day I received the report (~25 pages), plus an extremely useful addendum with all sorts of homeowner tips. They also assure you that you are customers for life and can contact them any time with questions that might come up. I would (and have!) recommended Mike and Joe to anyone who is looking to buying a house!
