Honestly what should have been an exciting time for me buying my newest car, it sadly wasn’t.Nothing was easy having to make several trips to the dealership which was a 3-4 hour ride each time. Always little to NO communication. I wish I could say it was a better experience.

I wish I could give more stars, but at the end of the day, the frustration outweighed the good. Starting with the good. Our salesman Joe was helpful and communicative. If we had any questions he was a quick text or phone call away. The dealership also offered a reasonable amount for my trade without too much negotiation so that was a nice perk. (Only reasons for 2 stars rather than 1)Now for the frustration. I will preface by saying my situation was a little unique as I am a Vermont resident purchasing a vehicle in Massachusetts. My Vermont residency was brought up prior to the purchase of the vehicle and I was told it would be no problem at all and that they do out-of-state sales all the time. With that, I agreed and signed the paperwork for my new vehicle. I asked when the vehicle was going to be ready to be picked up and was told 1 week tops as they were going to need some time to take the car to Vermont to do the registration.A week passed and I got a phone call being told that they just found out that they think if I registered the car in Vermont I would need to pay the sales tax upfront out of pocket (something that was not communicated with me ahead of time). I was then called the next day and told that I don’t actually have to pay the sales tax upfront, but that I do need to come back to the dealership to re-sign paperwork for Vermont sales as the initial one was done for Massachusetts. Very unsure why the initial one was done for Massachusetts as we agreed we would proceed with Vermont registration. I go back to the dealership, once again am told that I’d have the car by the end of the week. Friday comes, still no car. At this point, I ask if I can just go to Vermont myself and get it all squared away but get told that isn't an option because I can't drive the car because I am not a dealer employee. I’m then told “we will send someone up on Monday to register the car, and it will be ready to be picked up Monday evening." Monday morning comes and I get another call saying they actually aren’t going to be able to send someone up until Tuesday. Tuesday comes, I’m told that they actually didn’t need to take the car up to Vermont (so I could have gone up to register it myself the entire time..??) and that it would be ready by 2:00. I didn't end up coming until 5:00, 3 hours after I was told it would be ready, and believe it or not the car still wasn't ready and I sat for another 30 minutes while they got it ready. Finally got my car, but this was 18 full days since I originally signed the papers. I should also share that here almost 3 weeks since I picked up the vehicle I still do not have the check for the value of my trade.I was expecting complimentary rubber floor mats or the first month payment taken care of, or something as an apology for the very extended delay but wasn’t offered anything. There seems to be an overall lack of communication and a sense of urgency to get things done among management at Pride. I wish I could say better, but I would say especially if you are not a resident of Massachusetts, I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Pride (unless you don’t mind a long wait for your car.)- Frustrated Car Buyer

We stopped at Prime Chevrolet earlier today. We did not end up buying because they didn’t have exactly what we were looking for but Carla was still absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we looked at and actually went over every feature before our test drive. I haven’t seen a sales rep do this in many years. She also did not try to push us onto a different car than what we wanted. I would 100% come back and buy from Carla in the future! She’s top notch!

This is my 4 the vehicle from pride in 12 years I return my vehicle every 3 years and lease a new vehicle and have been very satisfied from front to back from sales operations to service !!

I didn't have an appointment but Pride Chevrolet was kind enough to fit me in for an oil change on my 2008 Chevy HHR vehicle. I appreciate that very much. The people down there are very professional and always courtesy. Whenever I need work done on my vehicle, Pride Chevrolet is my go to place. Thanks again for a pleasurable experience.

My Wife and I met with Carla yesterday and purchased a 23 Chevy Tahoe High Contry, perfect condition and very good price. I cannot give enough credit to Carla. She was amazing to work with, very nice lady, felt like I was a good friend from the time we walked in the door. The finance manager Mike was very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a nice car this is the place to go. they don't rush you into buying, they understand less than perfect credit rating and will get you the best rate. Go to this place first, and drive away in an excellent vehicle.

I have to say that I am very disappointed on pride this time around. It’s a shame. I bought multiple cars here over the years and had a great experience. Not sure what happened but I couldn’t be anymore disappointed. Besides the fact that everyone seem to be just sitting around while customers wait. I had to go to a sales person after walking around for 20min asking “is there anyone trying to sell me a car” before I even got noticed. I did end up buying a car but not without it being a slow and sloppy process. I know management tried to make it right by giving me a free oil change but I hope they tighten up the process because I hate giving these kind of reviews!

Carla was amazing. As first buyer in USA, I was lost and faced with many challenges. I had so many questions! But the team at Pride went all out to help me purchase my first ride. Best dealership in the area. I wasn't a chevy guy before, but now I will come back again in the future.

I had an appt for preventive maintenance work. While in for service, my "Check Engine" light went on. This was due to an issue that I thought someone else had fixed. Omar, my service advisor, worked diligently to make sure the issue was fixed. Now, I feel that the car is safe to drive.

What a great experience I had at Pride Chevy on the Lynnway. Christina worked with me, and she was absolutely awesome! I got a beautiful 2023 Chevy trailblazer. pride has some good extended warranty packages. I had my new car much earlier than expected. The entire staff was great. They are kind, courteous and fun. They make buying a new car fun! What a wonderful company and staff! Thank you all!
