I love their papaya salad. Other papaya salad I have tried isn't anything compare to this one. It has to be spicy too. I know it burns my lips and tongue but it is addicting! I love the soft shell crabs on it. I crave it even right now and I wish they deliver further cities too.

This is a small family owned Lao store and the man and woman are both the nicest people ever! You'd want to call them Mom and Dad. Whenever I come into town from Seattle, I ALWAYS make it a priority to stop by this Lao store. I love that they're true to their spice and if you want it XXXXTRA spicy, you'll definitely get that XXXXTRA spicy. I normally order a Large raw beef larb/laap and a Large papaya salad. These usually come with a side of cabbage and cucumbers. I love this place so much that I came back the next day, ordered more raw beef laap and papaya salad but also got their Nam Khao and Meekathung/laadna, and they were delicious! Definitely order ahead of time by phone if you're ordering plenty since there is only one person doing the cooking. Since this is also a store, they do have ingredients/seasonings you would need to make your typical lao dishes. They also got instant noodles, som moo, different asian fruit drinks, mortar and pestle, bamboo sticky rice holders, rice cooker and so much more. I did happen to see that they even had thai flavored chips (salted egg, tomyum shrimp, etc) you usually wouldn't be able to get in the states! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

I've been here 10 years ago and again today. Their papaya salad is as good as it was 10 years ago. I got a small order of papaya salad for $6. The owners are super nice and I got my order in less than 10 minutes. It's a cute little market and very clean compared to other Asian markets I've been to. I'll definitely stop by again anytime I'm in Lynn.

This is just a review of their Papaya Salad. That's the only reason I come here because it's that good. Having a BBQ? Gotta have it on the side. Having any sort of fried marinated meats? Gotta have it on the side. It's just that good. Gotta have it spicy also. I live in a different city and come to Lynn just for this. The staff is very nice. Plenty of parking also so never an issue getting a spot in the front on in the lot on the left side.

We were in search of Laotian food while in Boston and found this little gem. Craving for a home cooked meal and they gave me just what I needed! The owners were super super nice! They were just getting ready to close and asked if it was too late and they said NO! First I asked for just papaya salad. They insisted they didn't mind staying later and made us laab gai as well. Papaya is definitely "Laos style" and not the Thai version and comes with some cabbage. Laab had the tripe and was tender and fresh! Laab came with cucumber and cabbage. They gave us enough sticky rice to feed a whole family and only the two of us lol! Hit the spot and will definitely be back when we're in Boston.

What can I say, I love this place been coming here since the previous owner. The current older woman who makes the papaya salad is such a sweet heart. She knows how I like my papaya salad so I don't have to put a special request. The guy at the counter is friendly. They are good people and I will continue to support local business.
