Never a bad experience with Johns Oil. The woman who answers The phones in the office is always so pleasant to talk to. Services is always prompt and quick oil delivered within a day to two days the absolute most. Recently had a problem we ran out of oil. Oil was delivered and the furnace, was primed & restarted within an hour at a very fair price. I couldn’t be more more grateful to this company or recommend them enough.

I don’t use John’s oil, but they Delivered to my neighbor. The driver was reckless and smoking a cigarette. I don’t even want John’s oil trucks around my neighborhood just based on safety alone. Also need better training on driving like what a stop sign means

Ordered 100 gallons of oil this past Friday to be delivered, plus payed the service fee for them to prime it since it had not be turned on since last winter. The oil was delivered Monday but nobody came to my door for the service. I called them Tuesday and had to wait until today (Wednesday) for them to come back. I was not home when they arrived so my son let the gentleman into the basement. The rep then told my son he had bled the lines and that the problem was I needed to replace the batteries for the thermostat. The thermostat was reading “low” it wasn’t off, however, I replaced the batteries just to be sure. My radiators are still not turning on. When I called the office to let them know I was told I would need to pay $135 for a tech to come back and take a look. The day before the first snow fall of the season. Not happy with this service at all. Will not be using this company again. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Switched to John's last Fall and love their low rate, price transparency, more control over the timing of the deliveries, helpful staff and innovative tools. Overall, John's saves me hundreds per season over the other large distributors on the North Shore.
