Hannaford to go and getting to be such an awful experience. Waiting now for 32 minutes for a pick up order. It use to be great but this location has been going downhill for sometime now.

Produce here has always been great. Deli clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of healthy and diabetic-friendly options on the shelves.

Hannaford is the best grocery chain in New England. Prices and deli on par with Market Basket, and they have self checkout! This one seems clean and well managed.

Clean well organized. Unless you are buying all Hannaford products you will double your costs over M. B. & Walmart Super stores

On check out with $570 dollars in groceries, I asked the lady if I could bag my own. She was frowning and throwing stuff into my basket haphazardly. I asked again, she pretending not to hear me so I started bagging myself. She got mad and said "don't touch me!" I decided she probably needed a break and went on my business. Until the manager on duty followed me out of store..." excuse me ma'am it seems you have touched one of my employees inappropriately" (totally not kidding) I had a cane in my hand and explained how I was handicapped and it was busy and crowded and apologized if i bumped into anyone and explained checkout was mad that i wanted to bag my own. Why do they get so mad at this? I went to my car then turned back to complain and state my case. They were in the office together. I knocked and when they opened the door, I started to tell the manager how this woman was throwing my groceries around and all he cared about was that I misgendered the Trans gender woman and demanded that I call her a man.?

As always, an excellent experience! Very helpful Staff. Even though it was late I was able to get a rain check. Robin rocks it!
Produce is fabulous as always. If you stick to the house brands including the all natural ones, the value is very good.
Do be careful! Overall they are pricier than other chains except for their own brands (which are excellent) and items on sale.

I haven’t shopped at the store in quite a while and today reminded me why. The girls at checkout never smiled. Never asked me how I was and when I asked the question the girl back in my groceries was extremely rude and abrasive. Never shopping here again. I don’t expect you to do handstands and cheer, but a little just a little bit of customer service would be nice.

I go here (Townsend) a few times every week. It's bright, clean, well-stocked and the staff are all friendly, eager to help and know how to help me find what I need if it's anywhere in the store. If they don't have it, they might know where I can find it. If not, there's a reason why (like Friendly's no longer making watermelon sherbet).

Prices are higher than discount food chains but quality is good and they donate a lot to local charity.

Hannaford is a nice store. It's smaller compared to some of the other giants but is always clean, stocked, and has an amazing produce section. I only come to Hannaford for forgotten or last-minute items. Hannaford is probably the priciest grocery store in the area, and nowadays, we are all trying to pinch our pennies.
