“Had a really nice room much larger than I expected. I use this for business in the area so I can't really comment for personal use. There are food establishments and supermarkets in close proximity.”

“We just stayed here, and the hotel staff was friendly! The rooms were very clean, great housekeeping! They were a little outdated though. It was also really nice they had a pool! It would have been nice if they had a complimentary breakfast, but my kids really enjoyed the cookies they had by the front desk! All in all, we enjoyed our stay, thank you Candlewood Suites West Springfield!”

“Always a good time, only minor complaint is that the rooms don't have a small microwave in them. I always have leftovers from the restaurants and food court but can't warm them up. Not a deal breaker but I'd prefer to have one availableNearby activities: Have gone to shows in MGM and at symphony Hall very convenient location.”

“One of the loveliest homes in Springfield with incredible views of the city. The owner is a most gracious host who opened her home, also a bed and breakfast, to the Springfield Preservation Trust for a winter fundraiser. This is a must see place, spend a weekend or special night in this grand historic home. You won't be disappointed.”

“It’s a nice spot if you’re visiting Springfield, no good views from any room, just buildings and roads. I enjoyed me and my wives stay, the hotel is only minutes away from good restaurants and museums. The price is decent and the breakfast in the morning I give 5 stars to the Chef!!! We had egg&cheese omelets, turkey sausage,French toast, pancakes, oatmeal with nuts, brown sugar or cranberries on the side. Real cereal for the kids like Fruity Pebbles and Fruit Loops. The gym is nice and the swimming pool is clean. The gaming room is also cool.”

“I was looking for a hotel that wouldn’t break the bank so I decided to stay here. I will say I am pleasantly surprised! The owner is a great guy and wants his guest to have the best experience. There’s not a bunch of rooms like the bigger hotels you may know which means they keep it 5 stars all the time. They recently renovated the rooms. I recommend!”

“Great place except one thing. Stayed in a room with an adjoining door to the next room. Sound insulation was poor and could hear talking and TV through the door when trying to sleep. Recommendation: ask for a room without the adjoining door.”

“My wife was a little hesitant to stay here because of the location, but we’ve always had a good experience at Motel 6 and decided to give this place a try. The first thing you notice is the landscaping as you drive up the hill; it was beautiful. The front desk staff was hospitable and accommodating; when we asked to see one of the rooms, the gentleman showed us three different rooms and even explained the cleaning process. My wife was delighted, and we appreciated their thoroughness and awareness of the times. Overall it was a great experience, and as always, motel 6 did not disappoint.”

“This place is a hidden gem! It was amazing in many, many, ways. The view pulling up is like a post card. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Management made me feel extremely welcome, like I was family. There's not enough great things I can say about this place! 10/10”

“We stayed in a King Studio room(#302) and the room was very spacious and well maintained. The hotel right next to the highway in the downtown. Parking looked secured. A lot of eateries nearby. The gym is small but adequate. The pool is an indoor one but small. The breakfast was decent. They don't have daily housekeeping, it is done every other day. Breakfast was good.”

“I don't know if I've ever stayed in a worse hotel. We had high hopes checking in. We got to our room and the first thing we noticed were the questionable stains on the floor and chairs in the room. The remote for the T.V. did not work. The heat/ac vent looked like someone took a hammer to it. The shower had no water pressure. The continental breakfast was pitiful at best. No hot food or coffee when we went down at 7:20 to get something to eat. The concierge was RUDE. She didn't say anything to me at check out and acted like I was an inconvenience to her when room service had to go find here after I was waiting 10 minutes to check out so I could get to a funeral. Housekeeping was the most helpful person there! She helped my boyfriend carry down all our items and held the doors for him. She went and found the front desk person after I rang the bell 3 times and the concierge ignored me. Do not stay here. Quality is not one of this places strong suites.”

“Lots of bad reviews, but honestly, this was a good place to stay. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, all basic amenities etc. Traffic on the street was a little noisy but a white noise app solved that. Very reasonably priced. I've stayed in $300/night hotels worse than this. That said - this is a motor court style motel with most rooms ground floor and you park outside, so if that's not your thing, don't stay here.Food & drinks: There are a lot of restaurants right there. We ate at Frontera, which was great!”
