So don't dare call this a mall. It's definitely more superb than a mall. A highly inclusive environment where people of all income level, masculine and feminine minded people can intertwine at their pace.

This is My favorite place in all of Lowell. It’s the heart beat and the lifeblood of everything great going on in the cultural rebirth of this old mill town.
Western Avenue is an exceptional example of urban reuse – turning an industrial textile mill complex into a campus of over 350 creatives. WA rents work only artist studios and live/work artist residential lofts.
We host year round First Saturday events ranging from Art Markets to Open Studios where the artists open their studios to the public, as well as other events. The Studios are open for wandering the hallways seven days a week.
Individual artists are available in person by appointment.
The campus is home to the Loading Dock Gallery – a cooperative gallery, and Tiny Arms Coffee. Each have different hours of operation.
