I grew up going to MCG's farmers markets and now I've worked for them for the past few summers. They are doing incredible work and the organization is filled with passionate, inspiring, and fun people! I would recommed anyone to work, volunteer, or interact with them!!

I loved that Mill City Grows had a Seed Swap at Christ Church Untied in Lowell! I got to meet so many nice people who shared so many seed packs with me so that my little garden will have lots of food for me to eat.
Mill City Grows works towards creating a food just community where residents are engaged in growing, consuming, and distributing healthy, locally produced food on protected land. Through citywide partnerships, we:
- Create and manage Community Gardens where residents grow their own food
- Create Urban Farms where we grow thousands of pounds of food that's distributed throughout Lowell
- Partner with Lowell Public Schools to install gardens and provide nutrition education through our School Garden Program
- Train gardeners in urban agriculture and community leadership through our Educational Programs
- Bring local food directly to neighborhoods via our Mobile Market and CSA/Veggie Box programs
