“This is by far, THE BEST apartment complex I’ve lived in. They take complaints seriously and follow up with you instead of giving you attitudes. The maintenance guys are GREAT and FAST! They do everything by the book (which is why you see some bad reviews because people don’t wanna follow rules), but it keeps everything in place. As long as you clean the apartment properly, YOU WILL GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK unlike most of the places I’ve lived in before. Keep up the good work!”

He was knowledgeable about the area and property, friendly, and professional even though he wasn't expecting us. The property manager also came out of her office to greet us and make us feel welcome. It was a great experience and a beautiful property!”

“I’ve lived at The Village at Taylor Pond for about 12 years. I moved here with my then, boyfriend about a year after graduating from college. Flash forward to 2023, we are now married with 2 children. Taylor Pond quickly became home to us. We love the peaceful family friendly property (walking trails, dog park, playground, quiet streets to ride your bikes on, etc). We have seen a handful of staff throughout the years and while they’ve always been warm and welcoming, the current staff has gone above and beyond to make sure their residents have everything they need. Maintenance (currently: Sadi) always waves hello to us in passing and is so sweet to our children. He is quick and efficient with anything we need fixed. The management team, especially Arthur have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. My daughter enjoys coming off the bus and running to Arthur’s office to ask a “math question of the day”. I recently mentioned that we had a few trees blocking our windows. It was something I said in passing, but Arthur was quick to find a solution and worked with the grounds crew the next time they were here to trim them which allowed more light into our home. We also love the newly updated amenities, freshly painted halls, and new carpeting throughout the buildings. Taylor Pond is a very well maintained and respected community. It is extremely family friendly and just such a great place to live if you’re looking to rent in Bedford!”

“UPDATE Feb 2024: When you read a review that has a complaints about ten different topics, you have to wonder where exactly the problem lies. In nine years at Clocktower, I have never experienced elevators that don't work properly, homeless people in the building, drug use or paraphernalia on the property, had a work order canceled, or had management lie to me. Heat in this building is dirt cheap because it's a mammoth south-facing brick building. There has never been an unscheduled water outage. Every apartment is renovated every time it changes hands. Every washer and dryer (in all ten laundry rooms) has been replaced with brand new equipment. Every window in the building (over 1,000 of them) has been replaced with high-quality insulated windows. Management is incredibly responsive to resident needs and requests.ORIGINAL POST FROM 2017: Perhaps the concerns in some of these older posts have been addressed. In nearly three years, I've never been "harassed by a homeless person" on the Clocktower property or in the neighborhood. The hallways and other common areas are impeccably clean, as there is a 3-person cleaning crew on site 7 days a week, in addition to a very attentive professional management staff of eight. Garage parking is only $50 a month and there has never been a time that I've seen the free, residents-only surface lot full. The opportunity to walk to both Main St and Mine Falls Park make Clocktower a great place to be.”

“We rented at Abbot Mill and we were extremely happy with the place. The unit itself was brand new, clean and very spacious. The staff was always nice and answered any questions we had quickly and professionally. If something ever needing tending someone was there immediately. Great communications of things going on at the complex. Definitely recommend if you are in need of a rental situation. The train that I had read many reviews about was never an issue for us. Here and there you would hear it but that was it.”

Maintenance is great, leasing office responds kindly and timely to emails and takes care of any issues that arise along with handling the issues professionally. We enjoy using the dog bath area and all the amenities that the property provides. The insulation seems to be very poor but other than that - the apartment itself has been a great place to live.”

“Lucy gave us a tour and was amazing! She was very knowledgeable on the apartments. We were interested in a 2 bedroom but none were available to tour. Lucy showed as a 1 bedroom and helped us visualize what a 2 bedroom would look like and let us know that she would call us as soon as a 2 bedroom was available to tour.”

“We hav been living here for 4+ years and absolutely love the place. Lets see the pros first.. * good office staff * well maintained property *spacious * quick response to maintenance calls * location- wendys,7 eleven,library,walgreens,burlington coat factory,kmart,market basket etc within close proximity *affordable rent *really good snow ploughing in the winter Now the cons... *there is a weird noise (like metal pipes clanging)when the heat is turned on.But we dont mind it.Its only once in a while. *The real con is the floor.The floors are carpeted except the kitchen.But they are really creaky and thin and you can hear your neighbours upstairs.We live on the 2nd floor and have people living upstairs.We have had all kinds of people living above us..teenagers,couples,family with kids.Yes it can get noisy .You can hear footfalls,kids running,people talking loudly and ehemm ...things happening the bedroom. But we did not have any problem with all the noise...its a part of apartment life...we would just switch on the TV or play music and we could easily mask all the noise. The real issue is when you have you have intolerant neighbours below you.Our life at Parlmont park was awesome from 2011 till 2015 june...thats when our luck ran out and new people moved in below us(We had a lovely elderly couple below us until then).A young couple who just got out of college and started job.they were the worst...intolerant neighbours we ever came across.They are sooo sensitive to sound.Its like they are waiting to hear the slightest creak from us to start banging from below.And its with so much force that the whole apartment shakes when they hit their ceiling .And they make every day of ours hell with their loud banging...There is nothing much the apartment management can do with such tenants.It's about how lucky you are in getting good neighbours. So good luck to anybody who's looking for an apartment here!”
