Writing a review since this is the 2nd time we’ve had a situation at the pharmacy. The first time my husband brought home our infant daughter’s medication. I saw the dose was different than what we discussed at the doctors office. I proceeded to look and they gave me the wrong child’s medication. The name was not our daughters. The medication was the same but the dose was more than we were supposed to give. When we brought back the medication they said we didn’t give you the wrong medication…. The child’s name on the prescription was literally not my child. That brings us to the second mishap today getting my child’s medication we got the right prescription right name/dose but we’re given a syringe with the medication. The syringe was a 10ml syringe the dose to give of my daughter’s medication is 0.7ml. Tell me how to draw up less than one ml on a 10ml syringe it’s impossible. People not in the healthcare field would think that syringe is correct and could possibly fill it to 7ml for a 0.7ml dose. Horrifying. I asked the pharmacist just to confirm a medication that I was picking up for myself was safe for breastfeeding she told me to talk to the pediatrician….the pharmacist should know the answer to that. Anyway definitely switching pharmacies after my interactions. They are also not friendly at all. It would be one thing if they acknowledged their mistake but to blatantly say it’s not wrong when it clearly was isn’t great.

Disappointing pharmacy staff who lacks sympathy in their communication with patients and their relatives. Being a healthcare professional myself, a physician, I was deeply concerned regarding the lack of borderline sympathy in handling my mom's lost prescription, which is not a controlled substance, meaning that it's not an opioid, but it is merely an ordinary, yet vital, medication that cannot be abused. I had no idea that a pharmacy clark could be so derogatory; and when prompted that if my loved one does not receive her medication today she would experience discontinuation symptoms of SSRIs, such as severe headaches, tremors, etc. she said, completely lacking emotions, "then pay for it yourself and won't need to deal with insurance approval". This is after her primary care physician, who is an extremely busy doctor, had authorized the replacement prescription in less than an hour, knowing that my mother needs her medication. Will be changing my pharmacy to BigY.

Awful experience. Pharmacy gave us the wrong amount for my son, refused to admit it, refused to give us what we needed, told me it’s my fault I must have given him the wrong amount (no we definitely did not) pharmacy manager just kept telling me we had the right amount because the computer said so when I was staring at an empty bottle 5 days into a 10 day regimen. Thank god for the bliss rd CVS they were extremely nice and patient and helped me even though it wasn’t their fault at all. Never going to the longmeadow st one again.

We lived here for 18 years and Jill the Pharmacist is the worst I have ever come across. She is honestly a very rude person who does not care at all about the customers. She can't be bothered at all.

Definitely hasn't been renovated in a long time. Definitely your basic CVS & Pharmacy chain. This is a smaller location but they do have a great selection. Very busy little plaza so be careful when entering & exiting. Parking is tight so watch out for door dings etc. Liquor store next door.

I couldn't be more pleased with the personnel working at the Longmeadow St. store ... especially the Pharmacy where they always greet me by name. I never go to any other drugstore. When I ask where I can find something in the store, the personnel never "tell" me where the item is, they always take me there to make sure I find it. They are totally amazing! And when I take a new Rx to them, they say it will be ready in 10 minutes and it never takes more than 3-5 minutes.

Since located on the edge of a college campus you think this CVS would be big and have lots of extra stuff. The CVS near my house has about 6-7 isles of food I teams this store only has 1-2. Only frozen food is ice cream. Also store seems a bit run down.
