Rod is clearly very passionate about helping those in need of instruction (me) to understand the reasons why we don’t hit the ball as well as we would like. His method is based on proper mechanics of body movement and balance. His use of the Flightscope simulator is very informative and fun. You will walk away with an understanding of how to correct your deficiencies and improve your game. I would recommend Rod to golfers of all ages and abilities who need help getting to the next level of their game.

Rod is fantastic in all regards. He's a great instructor who is highly approachable and passionate, and he helped me develop a simple, repeatable, well balanced swing. He also built me a set that was well fit, of high quality, and affordable, and he did so quite quickly. I can't recommend him highly enough!

The owner Rod is extremely knowledgeable and is obviously a master at the game of golf. We are empty nesters and looking to get back into golfing now that we have the time to do so. The first lesson was great and we made the decision to buy a package. The next two times for our joint lesson were disappointing. Neither of us had a club in hand for more than 5 minutes during the second hour lesson - it was all demonstration and talking. The third time my husband didn't swing a club once and I got the last 10 minutes for Rod to look at my swing - which was what I asked to focus on at the beginning of the lesson. Instead, we were given demonstrations and talking on pitching - not as active participants but listeners. It was frustrating because we both really like Rod. From the 'teaching' perspective, we needed a more hands on approach and we didn't get that. Maybe in part that was our fault for not speaking up more. We made the decision to forfeit the remaining two lessons we have already paid for and look for something that takes more of a hands on approach. From a 'person' perspective, I would give Rod five stars. From an instructive perspective, it was not an approach that worked for my husband and I.

Bought (2) Groupon sessions of 36 holes for friend and I to try wanting to improve our games but we work, unlike others I guess so when I tried to book one of them a few weeks out on Saturday the person, I assume was the owner said "all" Saturday's were booked all season by 1-2 people. This is poor business on both his and groupon. Now I'm stuck losing money not wanting to use at some random 8 pm times on a Tuesday night.

My guy Rod is absolutely amazing! His advice was on point. He was extremely helpful and patient with us being new to golf. He went out of his way to make jokes with us and knows so much about the game. Go check out his place! He has so much gear ranging from clubs to gloves, balls & golf tees.Thanks Rod for the great experience. We will be back!

Rod knows more about golf than anyone and more importantly can transfer that knowledge in a way that’s truly constructive. He not only teaches you how but he also teaches you why! I highly recommend him not only as a teacher/coach but also as club repair person. He is a true craftsman! Lastly, Rod happens to be a gentleman!
