I follow Johnny to whatever shop he works at. He's been my mechanic for 13 years now, and worked on my families vehicles for close to 16 years. Very honest and up front with you, and makes you feel like your business is extremely valued.

Johnny and his team at Doherty’s Garage in Lincoln could not be better. It feels like they drop everything to answer any question you might have and give the highest quality of service. On top of that, they are just really nice, quick and knowledgeable. Delighted to have them as my mechanics.

Can’t say enough about Johnny and his crew at Doherty’s. Had a failure in one of my speed sensors and called over on Sunday night, received a call at 7 am the next morning, and brought my truck in the same day. It was fixed within hours, and he had me come back the next day for an inspection sticker (I was overdue) - it was the fastest, most efficient experience I’ve had with a mechanic here and they will be my go-to from now on. Doherty’s is under new leadership, so I can’t speak for how they were in the past; but I can say with confidence that these are honest, hardworking mechanics whose prices are reasonable.

Disorganized.I called first to explicitly ask whether the mechanic was available to do the annual state inspection (which doesn't allow you to pre-book appointments). The person on the phone said yes. Turns out he was working on something else and had a crowd of cars waiting for inspections. They were scattered around the gas pumps and school buses because there is nowhere to park.The mechanic blamed his busyness on "the labor shortage", which in this time of high unemployment means "we only offered minimum wage for a skilled job." The next garage down the road doesn't seem to have any trouble hiring enough mechanics.

Took my car in for tire changes. I had the flat tire in the back and a couple of new tires. They broke the molding at the threshold off my car and threw it in the car. They also did not put the collapsible spare back in the wheel. They also quoted me something over the phone and the invoice was for 50% more. I brought it to their attention and they fixed it. I noticed the molding the next day and called them being super nice and saying I understand that these things happen and wanting them to fix it. They accused me to have broken the molding and wanting them to fix it!! Really?!! Anyone would do this over a couple of $0.25 clips?! Irritated I went back to the car to put the spare back in its place and noticed that they had dropped my spare and dented the rim badly. There was no use to call them on that as they would have accused me of it. Terrible customer service and manners. I usually buy gas from them and take my cars there for inspection. Not any more. I would never go back to them. They lost a local customer over a couple of clips.Service: Tyres

For years ********* handled the rubbish and recycling collection for our business (a church). When we discovered a billing discrepancy a fews years ago, our bookkeeper's calls and emails to the owner went unanswered. After a few months, we gave up and chose another company, then asked ********* to reimburse us a prorated portion of our annual recycling fee and deposits on our bins. That was now 13 months ago, and the owner still has not responded to us - we have left messages at the office a dozen times, stopped by the office before and after COVID, sent two letters by mail, dozens of emails - she just hasn't had the courtesy to respond to us. It's not a lot of money, but we were long-time customers who believed in supporting community businesses, and it's frustrating to be flatly ignored so rudely.... Read More
