History. Fall foliage. Tranquil fields, a pretty venue for fall weddings with tent options & old barn "(carriage house"). Look around for old auto history clues too. Farm views in Lincoln Mass.

Finally went here for a tour! Well actually two tours! The servant tour was absolutely amazing! It talked about the maid, chef, workers life here in the estate and generally around the period, and we saw where they work and live. The cod man estate has very detailed documents about the servants and it’s very impressive. The main house tour talked more about the family history and the rooms are really nice. The ground is pretty enjoyable to walk around as well and the Italian garden is really cute! Our tour guides are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our visit.

This is a wonderful house with a better personal story. Often we look at an old house and think wow, this has been here for hundreds of years this indeed has that history and a lot more to offer. The layout and how it evolved over time is interesting. The Codman family and the personal collections of arts and treasures of one of New England's original families is a real treasure. Portraits by Copley, and Dutch masters put a very nice touch on this house. The grounds are beautiful and the Historic NE guides are the best and very accomplished. Walk though and ask questions! Overall, a great visit with wonderful artifacts and gardens assembled across generations! We combined this with Lunch at the Liberty Inn in Concord for a memorable day.

Very beautiful place to visit, I did not check them out but I saw a couple paths to walk on that looks well maintained. However going in the spring is your best bet to smell the lilacs and get to see all the amazing greenery!

There is so much I love about this place for a wedding. Its intimate but it's also a huge area to walk around and explore. The Italian Gardens are amazing and the carriage house is the perfect place for dancing and cocktails! The field is wonderful for lawn games, and the tented wedding option makes it a Covid Friendly location!

Lovely grounds! The lax parking is a plus. A great access point for the numerous trails in the area. Haven't been inside though, so I'll have to get back to this.

A local gem of a farm- beef, pork, chicken and amazing eggs. Don’t forget the all around farm stand products. Just great! And take a walk around while there. Beautiful.

My dog contracted Lyme disease from our visit here in April. There were no signs anywhere warning visitors about ticks. If we saw signs, we would have applied bug spray and probably not brought our dog. We stayed on the paths, in short grass. He’s never had a tick in his life (we give him flea/tick meds) but he got 14 here. I emailed Historic New England and recommended they add more signage but never received a response. Skip this place.
